I put the spoiler bcoz i dont want to lose it lol. Do u think if i put 2 fans. top and bottom both blowing the heatsink, so the air will go out from side, Is much more effective?

QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Sep 9 2008, 11:32 PM) Ya... top and bottom blow in. the side out. More airflow i guess. Put 2 silent fans rather than 1 delta.Added on September 11, 2008, 12:04 am QUOTE(ham_revilo @ Sep 10 2008, 05:06 PM) did u meant two fans blowing at each other? There's review said it's a bad idea. U said more hot air will trapped inside? I thought it will goes sideways. then the exhaust fans will suck it out.if that is what u meant then i dont think its a good idea though... it will create turbulance and its not really good for the airflow in the casing... it will just create more trapped hot air in your casing.. if u want to put two fans, make it one blowing and one sucking... if u know what i mean btw, im not sure what exactly u meant but its just an suggestion This post has been edited by chyu89: Sep 11 2008, 12:04 AM |

QUOTE(ham_revilo @ Sep 11 2008, 02:58 PM) imo the sideways gap are a small.. dont u think so?? it would be like too much air blowing in and less going out.. imho its not really good for the airflow... Will try if i got free time. Only have a hp camera.anyway u can do a setup like that and snap some pics for better understanding and maybe post some result though Re: it would be like too much air blowing in and less going out i thought what goes in will automatically goes out? |

QUOTE(Silverfire @ Dec 13 2008, 09:05 PM) Make it this way: logically yes, but experimentally no. cpu heatsink might not show any big diff. if compare among big heatsinks, it does make the difference.Copper can conduct heat better than aluminum, so in a way, when the heat in transfered to the heat pipe(do you know in these pipes there are fluids?), the copper fins will conduct the heat faster than aluminum fins. Then the fan will blow/dissipate the heat away from the fins, how well copper can radiate/dissipate compared to aluminum, I do not know. |
