sure~ mine is the default spec with 4gb ram and 320gb hdd. you?
haha congratz.. be the first one to post up the full unbox pictures~
it's SEC5441.

not sure for others but to me 1920x1080 on 16" is seriously too small. even 32" lcd tv seldom have full hd. hope dell include some other resolution in rgbled screen.

thanks.
Studio 15 WXGA Samsung WLED also shares the same Hardware Id.

1920 x 1080 will be great for Blu-ray movies but text will be too small for my eyes sad.gif
you can adjust the DPI but what’s the point to have high resolution screen but you adjust it to look as big as the lower resolution.
i hope HD+ 1680 x 945 will be available in the future.

Congrats on your purchase, I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I do!
Credit card, takes 24 hours to confirm; mine arrived in 1 week, yours could be less because I ordered it before CNY and notebook came after CNY.

@tention: Hehe, I see u in the notebookreview forum for xps 1640 owners! Can u tell me if what Wolfpup says in the forum is true? He said that when the screen is open, it partially blocks the vents behind, causing some of the hot air to go back underneath the laptop (or something like that), making the temp rise about 20 degrees. Some other people have disagreed with him so I'm just wondering who's right...

Is there a design flaw like he says there is? Any other owners having problems with airflow?

it's true that half of the vents are being blocked by the screen but i can barely feel any hot air coming out from the vents most of the time. most of them time my temp for graphic card, processor and hdd is below 45c as long as i'm not gaming so it seems quite normal to me for a laptop.

Studio XPS 16 was 4,499 last week and it's 4,299 this week. They cut off 200. Can someone post some pictures of the Studio XPS 16's keyboard layout?

It's the Voyager Backpack, model number is TSB106AP. This is the 15.4" version, it has a detachable padded laptop pouch which I find handy for transportation and peace of mind.
Too bad the bags are all sold off when I got there on the 28th of January, so I have no choice but to take the display unit; cost me around RM290 @ All IT Hypermarket.
Don't worry whether it fits or not, I tested it on the spot with my new notebook and it fits snugly. You can opt for the 17" version too; it's a little too bulky for my taste.

Check it out: http://www.targus.com/my/product_details.asp?sku=TSB106AP
