Btw... just asked around for fun the D80 body-only is now RM 2.1k... dirt cheap. Just in case anyone's thinking of upgrading to a better body.

Ahh yes, the D80 is getting cheaper. Then again, thats only RM900 difference from the D90 body only option.

surely the depth of field will change with each setting?

but when i shift it to P* the aperture and shutter speed shown on the display doesnt change at all.

Maybe you need to rotate the dial more after you go to P* mode?

From another forum:

"Half press the shutter button and release it to turn the meter on. Then, try turning it in the other direction. Each click of the command wheel should change the aperture/shutter speed combination used when in P mode."

need to meter first
depend where u point. will gives diff metering
then trade off between aperture and shutter

i have spun the dial lots inbetween shots when i was playin around with it...
