Would like to know, what is the best bang for buck for all around AF-S lens for D40/D60 ?

Or budget Macro/Potrait lens ?
*
Swt.... to be honest, a prosumer camera with a super 18x zoom lets you do everything in one.

But since you ask, you can get the 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 VR... cover everything from wide angle to telephoto.

If you want a Macro lens that can be used for portrait as well, get the Tamron SP90, now released with built-in AF motor too.

bang for buck = 18-200mm. Everything you need in one neat lil package. Other than fixed aperture of course.

Macro/Portrait would be Tamron SP90 (since ada motor already) or save up for the Nikkor 105mm smile.gif

I am interested to buy a Nikon D60.

Anybody can recommend where to buy in KL/PJ area?

Lowyat Plaza quoted me RM2k with 2GB sd card, 1 case and 1 tripod.

the 10.5mm fisheye seems nice lens for d40/x/60

although it cant AF with d40/x/60, according to kenrockwell, ya, this fella again, he say he just put the focus between the infinity and 2m, everything will be in focus.. i thinks it is possible, with a relatively small aperture..

this is under my wishlist too.. lol
