quite cheap...shud wat for D90..sien..rm2900 cheap cheap body. even my 18-200mm vr oso cos tat much in uk.
sifu sifu outthere, i cant seem to adjust my shuuter speed in low light conditon to which i can freeze my object without flash.. izit posible tat i can do tat in low light cos is really bothering me when i use auto mode or flash.. and one more thing is i cant take continuos photo, my camera only able to take 4 or 5 pics and stop! izit bcos of the slow memory card cos every time after took one pic i hav to wait the yellow light to go off b4 i can view it..is not straight after. my memory card is nikon 2gb. thxs |

use S or M... set ur desired shutter and aperture will be set by cam for S mode... set both shutter speed n aperture in M mode... if under lowlight... i hope u have a fast lense...else...ur pic will be underexposed or worse...totally black... |

Eh..anybody knows how much was the price for Tamron AF70-300mm Di 4-5.6 now?

it is called slow sync flash,
can be used with rear sync or front sync, depends on ur style.. panning, set the focus mode to AF-C mode.. shutter speed depends on the speed of the subject. |

Err VR is important depending on the focal length of the lens. Not the camera body.

VR is very helpful to counteract camera shake. very helpful especially when u using zoom or telephoto lens.

VR can let u use slower shutter speed, but however, slowe shutter speed is not useful all the time.. i learned that, even i can hold for 1/5 with VR, my subjects cant.. lol.. so i opt to high iso and flash..

I have some questions for D40 users:
What flashlight do you use? Have you encountered any problems when using non-Nikon flashguns (well the manual warns of voltage irregularities etc)? i found out tat the maximum shutter speed tat i can go is 30 seconds.. and bulb appear..wat is bulb ler?? can i make it longer than 30 seconds?

yes...in bulb mode, you can take as long as your shutter is pressed...usually people use remote release...
