Okay, let me help some ya, I use 1 pack of Prestige Hamster Nature 800g + 1/4 pack of Britter Bunny 1kg = as food to my hamsters. And supplements like LC Vit [put 5 drops in the water bottle], Organic Vege Supplement [mix into vege n fruits], mealworms, crickets [as treats only], vege, fruits, hay..

That shud b enuf for them.. Later u see what other suggest to u ya.. These mentioned r what i feed them right now..

Thanks for the advice. What to do, she insisted want to get it 'cause one of the hamster we brought is doing some kind like stunt in front of us and is cute... that's why she wanted to get it...

Guys, just got a pair of hamster on last saturday when doing shopping with my gf. Actually is my gf wanted to get it but after 2 days she seems like lost interest alrady.  so i guess i will be the one to take care both of the hamster.

I'm not sure what is the type of the hamster, will post some pic to let you guys help me to verify.
Currently i just got the sunflower seeds as the food for the hamster. As from the 1st post, there is several of food that is recommanded for the hamster, is it ok to just stick to one brand or mixture with other?

As for the cage, it just a cage with a wheel and a water tank.

Need advice from you guys on how to take care of them.

Mental deformity? i think that hamster is fine. She will standing up with her two legs and fall down on the back... that's the only that attracted my gf...

you should stand on one leg, and fall on your back...see how she react. Later she put you in a cage all hamsters do that...even when you bring them home. Its what they do... just trying to escape all the time.

one thing they do that isn't cute...is eat their own. You should be careful with that. What kind of hamsters do you have now? Winter White? Robovski? If you don't know the species, tell us the color...we may be able to help identify.

I don't know why but I get a very distinct feeling that your hamster has a condition called flipping. Does it happen a lot?

And post some pictures yah? BTW, when you bought the hamster, didn't the store label the hamster tank from where you choose your hammie? What does the label say?

And if one male 1 female you better separate... If they're about the same age and living in the same tank, there is a very high possibility that they are brother and sister. Inbreeding produces bad quality pups...
