A bit concerned about bean because she will lick from the bottle for a long, long time..and we don't really see the water going down. But when we push, got droplet so should be fine.

do hamsters eat the big kuaci? Coz I keep looking around supermarkets but cannot find the small ones.

when she licking the bottle.. see if there is burble flow out fromt he tube to the bottle (inside).. if no burble means the water is not coming out. that is why she lick for long time.

10-20 minutes? Eh, never seen a hamster drink that long. None of my hamsters drink longer than a minute or two.

Is your bottle working? You try and see, when Bean drinks, you look at the bottle. After licking a while you should see a bubble go up. If as long as she's drinking, no bubble went up, means she didn't get water (or not much). Should replace the bottle o.

Normally how long a smoothie a can last after being fed to the hamster in their cage? Recently i noticed that those unfinished smoothie will become sour in the morning. I usually feed them at 10pm, and i noticed the sourish smell at 6am when i wake up. Is that normal? Or my smoothie spoiled liao? Coz last time I also din notice any sourish smell, only recently...

If you feed at night, uneaten smoothie are to be thrown away the next morning.

can last 8 hours.. but if weather hot, like afternun, the smoothie will turn bad..

Might be due the the bad weather recently. I'm feeding them red devil currently. And the expiry date is 09/10/2008... it's Sept or Oct, jus to be cleared?

Nezu's testing flavour supplement. Bean hates it with a passion if I feed with that alone.

Always throw the smoothie out the following day.
Mine basically become rock hard, completely dried out....so I guess the air up my place is really dry. Sure turn into rock.

lol, mine hasn't tried yet. I'm thinking that Roche will love it since she likes the vegetarian supplement but Ferro will probably hate it since he hates the vege supplement.

ntg grown on the teeth..but her fur is always standing up..always shaking.....and her eyes hardly can open..when it open it eyes,itlooks watery...

^ I agree. It might be an infection and it can pass on to your other hamster.

Is the tail wet? Does the eye look like sticky sticky, sometimes can't open?

is there any way i can get a sample of any smoothie ah? just to try whether my hamster likes it?
