Hi guys, I saw a few Giant Syrian Hamsters today at a pet shop. I asked the shopkeeper to weigh the hamsters. The sable-banded 1 weighs 206g. Solid cream weighs 213g. I got a shock when I saw such huge hammies.

Maybe you can put some rocks/plates/bricks/bowl for your hamster to climb up. I used some of my childhood rock collection to give it a platform.

The main platform is a brick of some kind I found washed up on the beach...

i went to pet shack yesterday.. haha.. quite a few people there but i dunno how anyone look like so i never say anything..=X.

offered my to buy smoothie but i no money that time..=( .. mum only willing to buy the staple food so got prestige! my two hammies love it so much now! =.=

By the way, bean's been avoiding all the basil leaves I snipped for her. Suddenly she don't like basil.

mum was there to pay mah.. she gave me the "look" when the girl suggested the nutri smoothie so i was like.. fineee.. not thanks.. hmph... lol

i guess cos my hamsters are still young.. about a month... so they not THAT used to their own food.. plus its the cheap kind that has the alfalfa pellets which they dont even touch..zz
