Thanks for your reply. Will check now 😁. Rezo Kaze looks good and cheap too, how you think about it?
*
I saw the Rezo Kaze side by side with the Aeratraon AE3+, very tempting pricing vs the Aeratron but I still like the low profile of the aeratron, less susceptible towards shadows.

White color fan, if something smaller can consider Rezo Aster 42 or Aster 56 which has lights and comes in white too. I'm grabbing the Aster 42 for the smaller rooms and kitchen (in white.. biggrin.gif).

Kdk nodoka and Panasonic wifan can use one same mobile app to connect? Since both apps don't have branding except both developed by Panasonic. Don't want too many apps on my phone. Remote control is too limited, no timer function

I have 3 sets of Alpha fan since 2014, so far all 3 within 5 years spoilt but was replaced FOC by Alpha due to some board design issue despite out of warranty. Mine is the model with back up light battery one. Replacement units (another model... isn't as strong but same look) working until now.

am considering the DEKA MS16 DC at the corner atm so that the height is not affected in the middle

I'm getting quotes of rm7xx to rm9xx to install 2 off ceiling fan in my condo bedroom. Fans are KDK K11Z1 and K14ZW bought already. Probably would need a wooden slab on top of the plaster ceiling to support the fan.
Concrete ceiling to plaster ceiling: 30cm
Plaster ceiling height to floor: 270cm
Is this a reasonable price nowadays?

Aiyayaya... just read this reply.
I've got the following for my new house.

3 nos of Alpha
3 nos of Panasonic
2 nos of NSB AE3

Lets see how well they fair.

yes- Alpha fan design is nice. Sleek.
decent price with DC motor.
Hope they ain't the same range as Deka

many shops also selling/pushing this Rezo fan. i got a feeling it is Rezo rebrand?

NSB is so pricey... from China designer brand right?
it is still china- hope their quality is good.

My original plan was to go with Panasonic/KDK Sensa 5, and the baby fan series... after going to the shop, I ended up with 4 Rezo (all the dark wood haha!, and it has the slightly smaller size such as 42" and 46", more suited for the smaller rooms... especially because the fan kinda moved it away from center of the bed), 2 Aeratron AE3+ (light wood and dark wood) and 1 tiny Deka for the kitchen.

Aeratron is Australian brand, not sure made in where. NSB is the one bringing them in.

one of my newly-installed fans seems to be unbalanced and wobbly, causing it to produce screeching sound as it turns.

not sure whether it's due to uneven weight, or bent blade. (but this is not metal blade, so, low probability that it is due to bent blade.)

any idea on how i can fix this?

Installer didn't fix properly or some kind of manufacturing defect.

I have a NSB fan that was installed awhile ago and the remote didn't work after awhile. Went to get a new remote from their warehouse. The installer installed it wrongly last time so it pulled wind up. Changed it and there was a better breeze but over the years it has become slower and slower at low speed. Only has 2 speeds. High and low. Low is REALLY slow. It's NSB Asta. It's now making a ticking sound and there's a bit of a hum.

I did ask to change the board or something but it'll cost some for their servicemen to come. About RM50 to check. RM35 for labour + spare parts cost.
That is already 1/2 price of a Deka Kronos F5DC (~RM200).

I'm thinking to install the Deka Kronos F5DC on my own. But seeing the Deka thread and the bad experiences I'm not sure. How bad can it be? As bad as my NSB?

I'm thinking of self-installing the ceiling fan but not sure if I'm brave enough to handle the wires connecting to my fan from ceiling. Are they all same for DC and AC?

I changed out the KDK K14y9 PCB on my own the other day. I know it's very basic to do but it felt like an accomplishment!
