dining hall 6.2m * 4.4m

Any recommendations which fan should I get? should I get a kdk sensa 4 for my dining hall? Is 56' fan sufficient?

hi all, eyes blurred reading from pages 1xx ytd night to this morning. but so much of info and greatly appreciate previous feedbacks and helped my to narrow down my choices.

but here's my dilemma, a little backstory.

been an Alpha users for 10+ years in 2 houses and no reliability issues - just wanna see if there's other options to check out - open my mind more. biggrin.gif
happily planned for KDK but went into store yesterday on a whim and saw NSB fans, and was pleasantly surprised on options. I've heard and evaluated them before but went with alpha previously. went online to see more comment of them recently but no avail. then saw this thread posting - no publicly raised issues but also couldn't find any rave positive reviews.

sudden change of evaluation criteria was mostly due to NSB has more design choices (wood themed, e.g. Mahogany, Oak) that matches more to overall ID rather than white / grey colour by KDK - which can also match ID but spouse prefers lower maintenance, hence white white blades or cups if possible.

current evaluation (KDK) / itchy backside noob thoughts (NSB):
1. Living and Dining room = Sensa 4 or 5 / Ovio or Ovio+
2. Double volume area = KC-4GR / Fino 2
3. Island Area = V touch Jr or baby fan series / Mimi or Wiwi
4. Master Bedroom = Sensa 4 / B-Fan
5. Bedrooms = Sensa 4 or V touch / XTRA DELUXE

"gentle" battle between kdk and nsb begins!
fyi, planning to buy all fans next week during homedec KL on may 13-16. luckily get more discounts or free installation! biggrin.gif

anyone has any experience with NSB, please provide comment yeah! coz really hard to find bad / good reviews.
or should I stick to KDK or check out other brands for another comparison, e.g. Alpha?

greatly appreciate any comments, thanks ya in advance!
hoping to hear from KDKs, NSB or Alpha sifus! biggrin.gif

I'm using Aeratron(windy and super silence but $$$$$) and Ovio (LED bulb burnt) from NSB for more than 5 years already. Still working good.

I'll recommend URAGANO if you want strong wind.

Forget about Ovio. Not windy at all.

Get Aeratron or Uragano.

I bought around RM1.3k many years back from ESH Empire Subang.
Installation of the blade is challenging to avoid creaking sound at max speed.
Also it is not using hook.

It is worth it. You will enjoy the strong wind and the silence of the fan.
When start using, you will complain the wind not strong because you can't hear the wind noise. biggrin.gif

Oh my gawt, people. Always always ALWAYS opt for the long pipe versions (unless circumstances don't permit).

Was using a long pipe Panasonic 5 blade (forgot the model number, but it had the number 14). It was obviously longer down the ceiling than my new fan. Very capable of wind delivery. Problem was, it was noisy. Not good for bedroom use. Also, it was rated at 70W at max speed. Wasteful, energy wise.

Switched to a DC motor KDK K15YX. They didn't have the long pipe version in store, so I went with a short pipe. The minute I put it to use, I was very appalled by the lack of wind. I attribute that to less air intake because if the short pipe, though it's worth mentioning this is a different blade design (the least ugly I could have found).

I feel like the lesser air intake negates the supposed energy savings I should have been enjoying. :-/
