KDK and Pana fan been having issue with the board, particularly capacitor.
perhaps my luck is not so good, a few time happened to the 5 unit of installed fans.

Seems like KDK and Pana also not free from problem nowadays.... and their high end fans are really expensive more than RM800+.... really worth it?

Basically expensive fan are features packed. So depends on you need those feature or not. If you don't need, better get traditional one, less function, less electronic parts, less risk of breakdown.

Want to ask about kdk v touch junior. In kdk website, it shows 2 star energy rating in the picture but 5 stars in the specification. So, which one is correct?

AC motor won't get 5*. Its 2*.

RM3xx range remote, manyak problem due to loose tolerances
4xx-5xx range remote, way better

No issue with Vtouch Jr/Sensa 4, I installed many personally.

Bought a Panasonic FM-15E2 back in December 2019 for RM600. Started making noise somewhere in January 2022. True enough the handyman said it was the exact issue as listed above. Fixed it for RM120. He said this particular model the issue is quite common.

The profblem is not only this model. My Furagi also have issue as well.

Price close to RM1k. Google this model and found out last time sell at RM750 in Shopee. Now cheapest around RM800. Can guaranty to last how many years?

Yeah, with the chipset shortage, RM50 increase is a miracle.
The other option is to go for KDK Sensa 5.

How about other options- such as

2 years old Elmark fan barely feel the wind anymore, is it normal?

If something diff from previous meant some part may spoiled. Check capacitor if unable to control speed of speed no change even you change speed. Call customer service if under warranty, could be motor issue if you changed capacitor and issue remained.

For my case, fan can't feel the wind because of dust too thick stick at the blade.
So maybe if your fan got thick dust, clear that first then if it is still slow then try to look at electronic parts

Recently went to a shop to look to purchase a panasonic fan but the sales person highly recommended Fanco which apparently uses DC motors compared to Panasonic which only uses DC Motors on their high end fans..

The other plus point he shared was that Fanco offers 5yrs warranty compared to Panasonic..

May I know in this modern age how does Franco perform?

I think Spore brand popular in there.
Using there not bad motor quite silent & wind speed normally set speed 1 windy for me.
Warranty 5yrs only motor & for electric l think 1yr only.
