Fans are very easy to do*, assembly u can use an ikea rubbish bin or laundry basket to assemble most (n-1) of the blades on ground if you are alone.. if with friends its easier because someone can do the holding and someone can do the driving.
*assuming no crazy 20 feet ceiling and you have a proper ladder

KDK/Pana fans are super easy to do.
Download the PDF assembly instructions if you're not sure (easy to blow up on laptop).

Diku fans should be charged double. Stupid metal cup (non-removable) gets in the way of everything.

Just need 12/13/14mm cheap spanners, PH2 + and a test pen minus screwdriver. Short rod fan better with stubby screwdriver.

I think i installed hundreds of fans in my life jor as part of the job. tongue.gif
The optimum number of blades to do on ground is n-1
any less its a waste of time
any more it gets in the way dong dong dong on your head
*
this sounds complicated....

also thoughts on 3 vs 5 blades?

Just installed Alpha Vannus Luna and I found the motor generate low noise like tik-tik-tik...
Hardly can hear from a distance. But when standing below the fan, I can hear it.

Thought want to purchase a DC fan because it is claimed to be quiet, end up i can hear this tik-tik-tik noise.
Just asking anyone who has a Alpha Vannus Luna fan or DC fan, is it normal that the motor still generating low noise when rotating? Or it is my fan problem, i need to ask for service?

See the uploaded the video. My phone hardly can record the noise until it is very close to the motor. But in actual condition, I can hear this tik-tik-tik noise when standing below.

Second question, is it normal for the rotating plate wobbling? (see the last part of video)

I only think DEKA this brand suit your budget now. Rm160-200 for ceiling fans...If you are installing for rental usage, then cheap fans is okay. For your own living, better pick the better one.

I just bought Rezo ZR42 to replace my Deka Baby G after over 3 years usage. Wanna try out new brand since bit disappointed with Deka fan quality despite their customer service is good. Can't comment much since only bought & use it.

I see. I asked reason being their DC fans seem reasonably priced and the design looks quite nice as well. Its definitely much cheaper compared to KDK although KDK is already a proven brand

eg: Rezo Signature series Axis 56 was selling like RM400+ at most, KDK Sensa 5 need RM900+ rclxub.gif , although Rezo is 56" and Sensa 5 is 60". Even KDK K15YX-QBR also need RM700+

Oic..... their DC fans is one of the cheapest (if not mistaken) and give 5 years warranty. I dont have fate in KDK brand...... Years back start in KDK brand, all KDK fans broken down after 2 years. Then jumped to Deka brand, but doesn't last long too. I will invest in DC fan later Lol....

Anyway back to your concern, Can't really know how reliable of DC fans since I quite new to this kind of fans. You may check these topic https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4931320/+40 & https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4963141/+0 to find out more info.

Hi all, I'm looking for ceiling fans for 54-56" and between 42-48" for smaller rooms.

For the 54" for living room and dining, so far I've found this brand (Cosa by Alpha) which seems pretty alright in terms of pricing:
- Cosa by Alpha 54" with 5 blades for RM198 each
- https://www.lazada.com.my//products/i238207...ub&urlFlag=true

For the 42-48" for the smaller rooms (master, study and guest), I'm having issues finding an affordable 48" fans. Any recommendations? So far I've found this;
- Alpha 42" with 5 blades for RM222 each
- https://www.lazada.com.my//products/i287513...ub&urlFlag=true

But I think 42" might be a bit too small especially for master and guest which is slightly bigger rooms.

Any recommendations and thoughts whether the above brand is good? This is for own stay smile.gif

Thanks!

so... which brand & model is breezy , and most importantly can go slow and quiet ? I wouldn't want something that can be too fast at no.1 speed.

will combine with air conditioner

KDK Sensa 4.

Sensa 5 is 60", cost more. Sensa 4 should "exceed expectations". Its #1 is kinda slow for me (it has 9 speeds), usually run on 2 or 3.

NOT running the fan at full speed 24/7 all the time like in classrooms will prolong its life.
