QUOTE(jhleo1 @ Mar 25 2022, 12:44 PM) I just bought Rezo ZR42 to replace my Deka Baby G after over 3 years usage. Wanna try out new brand since bit disappointed with Deka fan quality despite their customer service is good. Can't comment much since only bought & use it. I see. I asked reason being their DC fans seem reasonably priced and the design looks quite nice as well. Its definitely much cheaper compared to KDK although KDK is already a proven brandeg: Rezo Signature series Axis 56 was selling like RM400+ at most, KDK Sensa 5 need RM900+ This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Mar 25 2022, 01:39 PM |

what's the difference between Sensa 5 and K15YX-QBR?
https://www.kdk.com.my/product/k15z5-qey/ https://www.kdk.com.my/product/k15yx-qbr/ the spec is literally the same for both. Just different design and K15YX is cheaper? |

Seems like KDK and Pana also not free from problem nowadays.... and their high end fans are really expensive more than RM800+.... really worth it?

What would be minimum gap between wall and fan blade tip in order for the most efficient wind delivery?
Looking to get Sensa 4 for my condo living room and all the bedrooms now but not sure if its too big.... kdk/panasonic really limited in terms of small fan size. Nodoka Jr is nice but pricy af |

QUOTE(GreyMocha @ May 30 2022, 01:50 AM) Yea i was checking on Nodoka Jr as well for my masterbed room, as it is the only few KDK fans with reverse function. Benefit of reverse function is when you are sleeping, it draw the cool air upward(with AC on ya) and circulate it around the room so that you can really feel it, it can help you to maximise the effectiveness of your AC. Beside that, when dishes are served in your dinning table before start eating, you can on reverse function it doesn't directly blow into your dishes and cool your dishes. If you want cheap and DC motor fan with reverse function can check out Rezo Signature series. Although not sure on the reliability, but it does come with 5 year warrantyBut KDK is sibeh expensive la, around RM800+ for Nodoka Jr, and in my dinning area i definitely wouldn't go for small size 3 blades so it's Nodoka 60" for sure. I went to BigHomeExpo and found a brand call Fanco and the salesman demo his fans, and the Spino F666 66" cost about RM699 really got my attention(great wind and silence). Any sifus got experience with Fanco brand? Heard it was a SG brand and quite popular there? Or any sifus is using KDK Nodoka series can share your experience? |

My newly installed Alpha Vannus ceiling fan is wobbling. Contacted Alpha CS on Monday, appointment was made for 25th (next Tuesday). Yesterday the technician contacted me and said he could come today. Came and done balancing, fan no longer wobbles now. So far so good with Alpha's service

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 2 2023, 12:45 AM) I'm back again... Honestly, I only started actively using the fans since I moved into the house mid-last year... Half a year later, one of the 54" fans started slowing down only speed 3 and 4 worked, now only speed 4 works. Then, slowly two more 54" fans also failed. Only one left standing because it is in the guest room and I hardly have any guests staying overnight. Nowadays all brands more or less same. Look at the KDK complaint above. If want most reliable, unfortunately its those traditional looking regulator fans40" one is still OK... Now what should I do with it? I contacted the CS and the replacement unit and service charges are crazy. Any other options besides changing new fans? Totally regret buying Cosa fans and will not suggest anyone to buy them anymore. |

QUOTE(contagiouseddie @ Dec 6 2023, 10:22 PM) Just finished home renovation and some of the fans were installed by me. This is the first time having a mixed bag of brand due to the area size. Used to only Panasonic and KDK but now also have Alpha and Deka. The quality of these Alpha and Deka is just miles below Panasonic and KDK. From the structure, electronics, piping, wires, nuts and screws (a lot of kecik miao bolts and nuts), packaging and even the manual. If I have the choice, I would just stay away from them. Price is also not that far from Panasonic and KDK. U referring to AC or DC fans?Because DC fans, Alpha and Deka pricing is definitely far from Panasonic and KDK. U can buy like average 2 Alpha DC fans with the price of 1 Panasonic/KDK DC fan My house fully use Alpha DC fans (Alpha Vannus), so far no issues and all running silently This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Dec 7 2023, 04:59 PM |

QUOTE(Puteih @ Dec 8 2023, 10:09 AM) How long have you been using them? I'm thinking of installing a new fan for a small room, was thinking either Panasonic or Alpha. I want something reliable and can tahan long time. I just moved in 4 months. My other friend using the same fan at her place for 2 years+ now so far no issues. Alpha Vannus Luna is the model. Comes with more sizes choice to fit a room as well compared to Panasonic or KDKIf you can afford Panasonic / KDK by all means go for it but just keep it mind even they are not built like what it used to be. Just search back this thread for issues Puteih liked this post

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Aug 17 2024, 02:45 AM) Thanks for the input. No major issues no farSo far no noise issue right? What happens if max speed 6? Too windy? 😂 😂 😂 Never expect 40" also windy. Since I planning which size to use on my sister's house later. If fix 56inch will scratch the air conditioner unit. Either 40 inch or 46 inch. Most likely take 40 inch. Then bigger rooms using 56 inch. My 52" when installed initially it was swaying a bit. Called Alpha technician, they came and did balancing then issue solved already One of the 40" room fans when turn on will have some clicking sound but just for a while, after the speed increases the noise disappears You can refer to the installation manual for the minimum required space, from there can determine the ideal size |

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Aug 26 2024, 11:59 PM) Hi, saw your recent post about 40" fanis sufficient for most rooms. I am looking for ceiling fans for my new unit and KDK/Panasonic only has 56" and above... Alpha recommends to leave a gap of at least 1m from the blade tips to the nearest wallAlpha Vannus series seems to fit my budget. I have 2 rooms at about 100-110 sqft (10ft x 10ft), is 40" fan sufficient or do I need to go 46"? ![]() according to this you should be ok with 40", even 36" is fine zellleonhart liked this post
