lol.. u guys are missing the point of "collecting" and having classic consoles at home.
yes the psp can play it. but does it have the same feel as playing on a TV set complete with the designated controller and etc? clearly this thread is about old console lovers and collectors. probably you guys are too young to appreciate the old consoles. keep your psp away from this thread pls.. we know you got the best handheld ever.. NES >>>> PSP..
NES is where great games are born. before that there is the Atari 2600 (the 5200 is useless). Today's games has lost its touch of staying up late, with the tv on and the lights turn off and nothing but the sound of Super Mario Bros. 3 (or Kid Icarus FTW)playing thru ur tv set, good times. Im lucky to have experience dat. |

Feel so happy to realize there are a couple more retro gamers here
Still looking for a reliable NES.. saw something called Retro Duo which can play both NES and SNES games, but can't find the NES games that I want to play (all 4 Dragon Ball Z RPGs). |

QUOTE(aiyish @ Aug 21 2008, 12:28 AM) NES >>>> PSP.. Hah not only that, I remember my dad used to have this log book to keep record of all the high scores (that time no way to save games mah!) just for bragging rights. We'd have neighbors coming over just to outdo each other.NES is where great games are born. before that there is the Atari 2600 (the 5200 is useless). Im lucky to have experience dat. Most of the 2600/colecovision game covers were awesome because they were hand painted works (no photoshop mah!). I suppose it was really a case of judging the book by it's cover then. |

FF7 is still bearable with the jump to 3D, FF8, 9, 10, 10-2 just killed it for me. while FF-12 made me interested in MMORPG thanks to the gameplay (straight away sold my soul to WoW). i know it's weird, but all these while, my fav FF game would be FF Tactics for the PS1. that game was deep and killed hundreds and hundreds of hours of my life i finished it 3 times. uncovered all the secrets on the last run. haven't touched it till now. QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Aug 23 2008, 11:01 AM) Really? I'm going to arcade shopping later, if I can find one I'll help you get. Please give me more details what you want (number of slots, condition, and any games you are looking for) and I'll see what they have. I'm not selling mine because it is consolized to play on TV like normal console and I got it made from a German friend after a lot of hassles i dunno much about MVS board but how much is the normal price for it?? |

Aiyish - Just come back from shopping.. couldn't get anything for now, waiting for the seller's response to my offer. MVS-1F usually around RM300+ shipped. How are you going to play ler?
technophile - yeah you are most welcome to come over to my place when you visit Sabah, just let me know in advance. And since you like old FF so much, you will regret not playing Panzer Dragoon RPG. Definitely ranked among the best RPGs I've ever played (and I played a lot of pre PS2 ones). And I have 3 Saturns in complete with box in case you are interested bidfordun - I have some GBA and NDS games, but not selling any of them. Took me ages to find the original cartridges of GBA games (all RPGs) and I really want to keep the NDS ones except a few garbage game which I feel bad for you if you buy them (it was free gift) This post has been edited by gundamalpha: Aug 23 2008, 06:48 PM |

bidfordun - Don't have those. GBA me only have Lunar, FFT, SoM, both Golden Suns. Those gave me enough headaches to find already. |

Hey gundamalpha and the rest of the retro console freaks here! It's been awhile since my last post in the forums. I've been rather busy and catching up with my new job
As for my current wishlist. It's gotta be the white GG. Has anyone in Malaysia seen the White GG set before? I first saw it in a shop in Komtar Penang. That was back in 91-92 I think. It's super rare - only 10000 units were sold in Japan. Another one would be the PC Engine LT. Super rare and expensive. I might be able to strike a good deal with someone, and if the deal comes through, I think I'll let go my current PC Engine GT (since both of them perform almost identical). Any takers for the GT? That's my rant for today. Happy gaming! |

Pity that the GT cannot connect to cdrom2, so it can only play hu-cards |

QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Dec 19 2008, 06:07 PM) This is due to aging of the game gear and it's prone to have LCD and sound problem. The cause of this is the faulty capacitor which needs to be replaced. I have a link to do this, if you're comfortable with soldering and replacing electronic component http://members.optusnet.com.au/eviltim/ggrgb/ggrepair.html |

RS is an awesome game... quite late tho... am happy with Treasure's effort.. Guardian Heroes also the best... so far RS is very limited in number and very pricy... tried to get one last year (from US) ... USD170 plus shipping USD30... thats USD200... most expensive i've seen is at USD300... also careful dealing with ppl online... some try to sell ahem version of RS at USD100... playasia out of stock also even ST-V boards expensive... few RS cart around above USD100 each... found out rent a hero on sega MD is rare title... shame the manual koyak... box n cart still intact This post has been edited by shahreza2000: Dec 19 2008, 10:09 PM |

That's really bad, for the expensive items you should handcarry them instead actually. Because the company collapse while half way printing this game, only 5000 or less copies printed. It's a very special game, a rare 3D game from that era that still look decent these days

I played it before, the graphic animation of the bosses is quite good actually. It feels like Castlevania, but the reason for the high price is not really that it's the greatest game of course, but due to the limited number copy being produced. In fact no matter how good is the game, as long it's in abundant or has been reprinted, it's somehow reducing its value. It's following the economic rule of supply and demand, I guess |

QUOTE(PhatPhunk @ Dec 21 2008, 05:00 PM) Wow.. Some serious Saturn talk recently here Hi u're welcome to join us I just like to play games for fun and a bit of collecting. So far I only have one only, not the fancy Victor or Hitachi one, just the white one. The different is for these kind of Saturn they included the VCD card, while other type of Saturn has to buy the card seperately. The skeleton edition is quite nice, but not really within my budget as well This post has been edited by chronims: Dec 21 2008, 05:10 PM |

Battery cover is present with no scratches. Screen is awesome with no dead pixels. PM me if anyone here is interested. It is also modded with a US/JP mode switch as you can see Some Fighting titles I got for the PCE : Fatal Fury II and Street Fighter II CE ![]() |

8 years ago, i remembered bidding on ebay for SEGA Saturn SGX system. Later got outbidded by several large margin...
Made back in the late 90’s by a company called SunSeibu, The SGX is basically a modified SEGA Saturn mounted in a heavy-duty metal enclosure with a coin-op mechanism. It also has a special seven-CD changer for easy switching between multiple games. The box has standard video and audio and controller ports so you can hook it up to any monitor and play. Did u guys still play chu chu rocket on dc? those days played multiplayer and online a lot... best part.. got it for free from Sega Europe.. at the time they giveaway as u register sega online service.. Yes, the problem with most of the dreamcast is with its lens. U can try to tweak your lens though, before deeming it not working. Seems that ur lid is damaged. U can easily remove the top part of DC actually, then maybe u can check what's wrong with it. If you have a non-working DC u can just swap the top part of it with ur working DC. Anyway the PAL base of the cd/ gdrom (where u put ur cd) is actually nicer since it has 2 soft cushions on the base, rather than JAP or US one (which don't have this). It can help to reduce chance of scratching ur cd actually, since ur cd will not be in direct contact with the base. Wow, why u always play without the top casing ??? it's not like Neo Geo CDZ or X360 where it may help to reduce overheat rite ? I'm sure it's not due overheating reason Yes Gundamalpha collection is very nice and clean. QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Dec 26 2008, 05:39 PM) Not brand new Wah.. Super Famicom/Nes collection! One of my dream machines from the 90s too! You know when I was a kid, I only had gone through the Famicom era. Never owned any 16 bit monsters. Well, if the time's right. I might get a couple soon Dreamkey is used for online I think.. never use them before My mini SFC/SNES collection ![]() My Saturn games remaining ![]() I dunno guys, but I kinda felt that Super Famicom games are more polished and better looking compared to Gameboy Advance, which is supposedly more powerful. Maybe developers have gotten lazy. However the ports for all the super mario series were awesome! And Metroid too.. The first ever cartridge I had for the GBA was Wario Advance, and that game ROCKS! |

QUOTE(chronims @ Dec 28 2008, 10:59 AM) Seems that ur lid is damaged. U can easily remove the top part of DC actually, then maybe u can check what's wrong with it. If you have a non-working DC u can just swap the top part of it with ur working DC. playing w/o top casing.. not always lar.. when something goes wrong with dc not reading the disc or fail to power-up... can do diagnostic run... shame really it died..Anyway the PAL base of the cd/ gdrom (where u put ur cd) is actually nicer since it has 2 soft cushions on the base, rather than JAP or US one (which don't have this). It can help to reduce chance of scratching ur cd actually, since ur cd will not be in direct contact with the base. Added on December 28, 2008, 11:05 am Yes, it's quite easy actually since u don't need any special screwdriver to open the DC... Wow, why u always play without the top casing ??? it's not like Neo Geo CDZ or X360 where it may help to reduce overheat rite ? I'm sure it's not due overheating reason Yes Gundamalpha collection is very nice and clean. Mine are mostly quite yellowed for the Nintendo line-ups i have spare jap dc now... still ok imho dc is very appealing console... since most of all sega's console before dc are all in black color... except saturn gone black in us and europe, jap gone grey n white This post has been edited by shahreza2000: Dec 28 2008, 02:17 PM |

Found my old original MD cartridges while looking for my stuff in my old cupboard. Nothing to shout about coz only 5 games... haha..
Some are without casing and manuals as I'm unable to find them. ![]() I still have my Mega Drive 2, but I'm not sure whether it still works because................. I can't find the all important AC Adaptor!!! Any idea where I can buy one? I don't think play-asia has any. |

Yo nizam80, you can get the AC adapter from electronic shops no problem. MD2 uses a more general AC adapter, just make sure the voltage etc. compatible with your MD2

You have a working MD2 also right, bro? Can check it for me if you have the time? For the MD2 it's using 10V, while the older MD1 using 9V (U can see the voltage spec on the bottom of your MD console). If you have a famicom, the adapter will also working with MD and PC-Engine too, as they are about the same (+/-) voltage and are DC. But do not use the NES adapter as it's not DC but AC I believe, so pls don't do this unless you want to fry your adapter (and possibly your console) Bro, the way it is used sounds familiar to me. Yes, I have also Mega Key 2. For console of certain region, u cannot just put the cart inside the console so it serves as an adapter. I'm not sure whether it's only due to the different cart shape, but I heard that some games have a software region lock-out. Also there's a jumper you can set on the Mega Key (to set whether your console JPN, EUR or US), so it can be used on different consoles. This post has been edited by chronims: Jan 11 2009, 07:33 AM |

Chronims, thanks for the valuable information. So, it must be DC type and not AC right, bro? This is the exact adaptor right?
http://cgi.ebay.com.my/SEGA-MEGA-DRIVE-2-A...emZ380077776931 I have a question. What does the "INPUT: AC100V" mean? Does it have to be "AC100V" and not "AC110V"? As for the Mega Key, mine jumper switches at the back of it too. I seem to have peeled of the yellow sticker for the jumper settings on the cart itself (when I was younger). Now I don't know the correct settings for each region. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. |

AC100/110V means the voltage on the wall socket.. that's US/JP standard. M'sia uses 220-260V, so you have to be careful on this

Just like Gundamalpha told u, 100V is Japan, 110-120V is US normally, so even for people in US (when they use JPN console) they should use the stepdown converter as the extra 10-20V can cause extra heat. http://cgi.ebay.com.my/SEGA-MEGA-DRIVE-2-A...emZ380077776931 I have a question. I appreciate it. If u have 100V/ 110-120V adapter you definitely need a stepdown converter, because MY uses 220-240V outage. You can buy this in many electronic/ computer shops. Or you can find asian/ australian/ european MD2 adapter which has an input of 220-240V, so you can just plug straight away. Or you can buy an auto-sensing adapter (3rd party) which can auto adjust 100-240V, which some Ebay sellers from HK has to sell (but dunno whether will last as long the original or not). Yes mine still has the yellow sticker in tact. If u need a reference for this, u can ask me later or u can google urself This post has been edited by chronims: Jan 11 2009, 06:04 PM |

Go go and buy.. -Super Famicom Jr. - at this price is quite high and no games included, shipping also @ extra cost. -Super Famicom Box - this is an unit that usualy used on the hotel at that time, just like the famicom box, quite a rare item. But no games included. -Sega Saturn Victor V - Nice for collecting, price gone down (recommended) -Saturn Jap - If it's a mint ok lah (but quite common version of Saturn), no games included. -Neo geo cd - A bit above the market price, with no games included. -Sega Mega drive - It's a nice NTSC unit (instead of PAL that we normally have in asia), but the price is very high. The bad thing about play-asia for buying the 2nd hand console is, u might not know what to expect on the condition of the item. If you're lucky you get a mint item, but since this is 2nd hand mostly there's something that makes it not new (marking, incomplete). For completeness, luckily they still include the description but for the exact condition of the item unfortunately no description (and the photo's actually a stock one). But still recommend it, if you cannot find it elsewhere with cheaper price though This post has been edited by chronims: Jan 24 2009, 11:54 AM |

Does Game Genie work on a JPN SEGA MegaDrive? I need to bypass MegaDrive Region lock on a JPN MD, but not sure whether Game Genie would work on a JPN MD. Extensive research on Google doesn't really clear doubt.... |

QUOTE(neogeocdz @ Jan 30 2009, 01:02 AM) Retro Gamer and SEGA fans please help. I do believe Game Genie does not have region lock embedded, so it should be safe. However there games that have region lock chip, so you can't simply plug and play. Games like Sonic 3 (weirdly not & Knuckles though), Gunstar, Contra, PSIV and Shinobi III are region locked, which are possible to bypass through Game Genie, but you need the right codes. The whole region lock thingie made me sold my Mega CD and settled for a CDX since, for some odd reasons, Genesis games are much cheaper than JP MD games. No problem playing imported Mega CD games too Does Game Genie work on a JPN SEGA MegaDrive? I need to bypass MegaDrive Region lock on a JPN MD, but not sure whether Game Genie would work on a JPN MD. Hopefully to get a MD that could bypass region lock, and can support 32X & Mega CD, Aiwa Mega CD, Mega Jet seems out of the question for this.. |

The region lock is software based, so you must use specific hardware from specific region to bypass the chip embedded carts. There's an ultimate solution to this (cost close to nothing) and that is adding a region switch to your console. You need to have good soldering skill to do this though. Would you be interested?

You still need to do hardware mod to achieve that. You should look at Nintendo's SNES/SFC and N64, they had the best region lock in history.

No, this gen belongs to 360. Modding still can bypass Wii's region coding, but still no solution for 360.
Too much of current gen talk, let's go back to RETRO! Have been spending time on PS1 RPGs lately, and finished Parasite Eve. Still can't decide which one to play next since most of them I haven't played before |

Mine is a JPN MegaDrive, but i only have JPN games, which is quite pricey compare to the US one. That is why I am trying to bypass the troublesome Region Lock, so i can save more on my collection. Does Mega CD have region lock hardware wise? I know the games can be bypassed through a cart, but not so sure about the hardware itself. Most probably neogeo is getting a JP Mega CD anyway I guess.
And what about 32X? I think it's region locked right? If that's the case JP MD owners would be doomed, since JP 32X games either sucks or overpriced. 3rotor might be able to enlighten us a bit here :here: |

I used to own a PAL CDX, then switched to US CDX with PAL CDX case swap so can insert cartridge from any region
Any particular Saturn game you are looking for shahreza? Or what Saturn game are you playing now? This post has been edited by gundamalpha: Jan 31 2009, 03:05 PM |

Are you planning to get US or JP Guardian Heroes? And regarding shmup, you must play Battle Garegga, which IMO much better than RSG

Buy the game (Battle Garegga), beat the game once (don't care how many credits) and watch the superplay and learn why this game is unversally recognized as the shmup with deepest mechanics. Every time you suicide, collect item, bombing and even how rapid you shoot affects the game difficulty

Well you need to keep them running for hours once in a while or else the internal batteries (irreplaceable) will die

How u maintain your retro consoles, gundam? any tips... So far i know - keep it away from serious dirt/dust and moisture. - keep the console systems in a dust-free place - keep the games in a tub or protective case/sleeve, they would last longer. - the only things that really ever go bad are the batteries. |

I think I bought it for $80.. can't really remember
I don't really have specific way to keep up the retros, just turn them on for hours once a while to make sure the lens still reading and battery still running. Also keep them out from the sun, especially white/grey consoles |

Oh, it's a problem with the controller port, not the controllers. You must be pluggin in and unplug while your DC is on?

Some shmups you shouldn't miss on Saturn shahreza: 1. Battle Garegga 2. Batsugun (ancestor) 3. Cotton 2 4. Cotton Boomerang 5. Thunder Force V 6. Layer Section 7. Shienryu Those Strikers 1945 and DonPachis are better on PS1 |

You may want to take off the whole thing from bottom and clean the inside and check the connections, shouldn't be hard. Hello!
Didn't know such a thread existed :-O Anyway someone here was asking if you could play MegaCD PAL/JPN games on a US CDX, you can but you need a Pro Datels Pro CDX adapter, there were 2 types, one for a model one genesis and one for the model 2, I am using a model 2 on a US CDX, so far it works on most PAL/JPN imports, I bought this to play Keio Flying Squadron (JPN) cheapest version out there, lol, but fortunately managed to score a mint complete US copy for next to nothing. Regarding the game genie I think you need to enter codes, I personally use the Super Mega Key with the dip switches so I can change between PAL/US/JPN games. Works on my Sega Nomad too. |

Has anyone played any of Capcom's VS series on Saturn? I have a 3rd party 1MB/4MB RAM cartridge, which doesn't seem to work on 4MB mode. I'm really itching to know how does it look and play on Saturn. Yes, you can already play the actual arcade version via emulation, but I get a kick out of playing kick-ass ports on home consoles.

Of course I do play the VS series on Saturn. I'm assuming you are using the earlier model cart where only X-Men VS SF can work. Better get the newer one from PA, it can load every single 4M required game on Saturn

Ah well. Maybe I'll get around to this buying online thing. Until then, it's just garage sales or gamestore browsing for me. Moving on. Ahem, so any chance you also have a Saturn or Dreamcast Twin Stick as well? This thing is the stuff of myth apparently.

I would have bought a Twin Stick if I'm impulsive.. see one selling for really cheap. But I don't think I'd enjoy Virtual On like I did now.. too blocky

I can still appreciate Virtual On even to this day. Played the game throughout the whole of 1997-1998. It's pretty much burned to my retina now. Which is probably why I'm kinda clouded by nostalgia, tech be darned. Oratario Tangram is definitely the better game, but the 1st will always be something special to me.

Yeah, it was gold for just plug and play and you can enjoy the game to the fullest.. unlike now where you have pay again after buying the game to enjoy. I don't play game in the plane since most of the buttons are broken and have to pause every time the pilot make stupid announcements

I don't have extra since NGCD and NGCDZ use different ones. I know where to get but then might as well get a new unit since it's not that expensive

Seeing you guys got the fake MD and due to compatibility issues, some fake games are readily available and here's my recommendation (from what I've seen in the market):
Contra Hard Corps Castlevania Bloodlines Yu Yu Hakusho Gunstar Heroes Shinobi 3 Sonic & Knuckles |

QUOTE(nizam80 @ Feb 13 2009, 12:42 PM) Bro, u mean those made in china Mega Drive 2 consoles? I tried buying one of those last week, and to my horror, it is unable to play most of my MD cartridges (black blank screen). Even the AC Adaptor has a different power output and can't be used with my original Mega Drive 2 console. Hi, is this the one with the built-in games ? because this copy looks almost exactly the same with the original, but with built-in games and no connector for sega mega cd expansion.Hmm... any idea why it can't play most of my MD games? Now I'm beginning to think that it could be most of my MD cartridges are already faulty. sigh.. I would recommend to buy the original Mega drive though, it's still the best there is to play MD games with full compability. Added on February 13, 2009, 11:00 pm QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Feb 13 2009, 04:04 PM) Yea, fast & furious shooter that is Added on February 13, 2009, 11:04 pm QUOTE(S4PH @ Feb 13 2009, 02:09 PM) The compability with the various version of MD carts is not good for the 3rd party MD console. I would suggest u getting the original MD console and this would have better compability towards any version of MD/ genesis (ori/ fake) carts (with converter needed for some carts).Added on February 13, 2009, 11:18 pm QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Feb 13 2009, 03:57 PM) Seeing you guys got the fake MD and due to compatibility issues, some fake games are readily available and here's my recommendation (from what I've seen in the market): Hi Gundam, that's the Sabah market isn't it ? not KL one Contra Hard Corps Castlevania Bloodlines Yu Yu Hakusho Gunstar Heroes Shinobi 3 Sonic & Knuckles This post has been edited by chronims: Feb 13 2009, 11:18 PM |

Yes, chronims. That's the one. It looks exactly like the MD2, but extremely lightweight and comes with built in 300++ games. I would recommend to buy the original Mega drive though, it's still the best there is to play MD games with full compability. I'm still looking for an AC Adaptor with the exact 9V power rating output for my original Mega Drive 2 though. EDIT: Correction, it's 10V, not 9V. Anyway, the AC Adaptor that came with the fake MD2 has a 10V output, but the connector doesn't seem to fit on my ori MD2. This post has been edited by nizam80: Feb 14 2009, 12:36 AM |

Yes, one of the shops in Sungei Wang is still selling this. I have another fake version which has a very bad compability, so some of my carts can play, others cannot. I think the adapter can be used with ori MD2 (If it's AC to DC10V), you only need a converter for the input connector (different size) of the adapter. Note that DC9V is used for MD1, while DC10C for MD2. Also note that both MD adapter's current rating is 850mA. This post has been edited by chronims: Feb 14 2009, 09:08 AM |

But, as you mentioned, it still can be used as long as it's AC to DC10V, right? And, may I know how does the converter for the input connector roughly looked like? Coz, I think it may be convenient for me just to buy the converter.I think the adapter can be used with ori MD2 (If it's AC to DC10V), you only need a converter for the input connector (different size) of the adapter. Current rating.. higher means no harm to the console nor the adapter itself, just make sure the rating isn't lower

QUOTE(nizam80 @ Feb 14 2009, 10:42 AM) gundam, thanks. So higher rating is ok, huh. It;s basically a converter to adjust the head size of your adapter. I think your MD2 console should be fine with 1.2mA, but if higher than this I don't really recommend it as it may fry your console. Also after finish playing, better unplug the adapter so it will not become too hot. Hope it's helpful for u.This post has been edited by chronims: Feb 14 2009, 10:58 AM |

Hmm..never played/seen anyone playing 32X games also.
I've seen couples of shops in sg.wang using their Mega CD/CD-X as demo back then. I love that jet fighter game(I forgot the title) using using real cutscene as gameplay. Can someone enlighten me? |

Great collection you have there
Regarding the melting cables, make sure you don't stretch them when you tie them and never ever use rubber band. I noticed cable melting only happen on 3rd party peripherals.. all the ori so far so good. 1 thing I would like to comment though, why get an AES instead of MVS? |

coz AES is something tat i wish to have when i was a kid. it juz to full fill my collection not bcoz of the enhancement of MVS. if i got the change mayb i will get MVS after i get AES. too bad gundamalpha is way too far. if not i will sure get a chance to try on the MVS too.
oh ya regarding the cable thingy...how if i keep it in other box(bigger 1) instead of the ori box, coz mayb the compound is too tight for those controller and adapter. hehe.. is tat a good idea? |

It's not about the enhancement MVS will receive, but it's the pricing of the games. AES games on average cost 5 to 100 times more than MVS, so if it's for the sake of playing games MVS is the way to go.
I haven't had any problem putting consoles and accessories in their original casing |

how abt the enviroment u keep ur console? is ur precious console all keep in aircon room? any sunlight? feel bad when i saw the cable like melting. |

bro ur aspect ratio nt correct, the games ur playing is 4:3 stretched to 16:9 everything will be gemuk. I guess most CRT displays are 4:3 i guess u will not find a 21" CRT as its 16:9 its quite rare to c a 16:9 CRT.

If the Dreamcast has really been modded, then yes you can play NTSC/U and PAL discs. However, most Dreamcast systems I've seen (or own) are never modded. Back then, I bought a NTSC/J title, and tried to run it on my NTSC/U Dreamcast. I couldn't run it without modding of course. However, you can use a utility disc called Action Replay CDX. After loading the utility, swap out the disc for your game disc, and play! Not all games can be run using Action Replay though. A modchip is still the best way to bypass region lock.

Ok, S4PH and tripleB, thank you for your answers. You have been very helpful. So, in this case, any modded DC will do to play any original DC games from any region?

You don't need to mod to play back ups, just depending on the DC's version but I don't know how to differentiate them. I use boot disc for imports, which also require DC's that can play back ups.

Yeah, very hard to find now. I got mine from lik-sang.com. Otherwise you can burn your own boot disc.. Utopia or something. But make sure you only use Utopia on NTSC console, never on PAL because it will display inceorrectly if you do.

Old is gold, my 1st ever console is Atari with pre installed 8games maybe.
At the generation it seems a good hobby. It was borrow & never return. I have to save angpow money just to get this. Then comes Mirco Genious, my fav game Ninja Gaiden/Ninja Ryūkenden. Cuba wars, slamander, many good games & forgot titles. Again console were borrow & never return. Never owned the Nitendo, as it was too expansive that time, but still like the Ikari that is stuck in my mind. Sega Megadrive, just for mortal kombat, sonic, landstalker , sinobi & many more. Console still have but never touch for long. N64, golden eye, & some CD's invented by HK fellers using CD that recorded a few games inside. about 30games per cd. It's called the Doctor V in order to activate you need a original game & load the CD. Still have & this is a great invention. PS/PS2 - my payback era started when i join Sony Malaysia as a PS promoter in 1996/97. good contacts good game good life. planning to get PSP to load classic such as Contra, Ninja Gaiden & many can't recall title (now is 7am lah) dunno if you ever heard a game called Body Hazard ? i never forget this game, it quite sick & weird. Go & get it. then you know.. Arcade era grow in late 80's - Street fighter 1 (reversal play) Golden Axe 1, & gemini wings, double dragon - abobo... midway 1942,1945,1945x. fuu..
