Great job guys. I think people should build their careers there, especially bright talented grads. Free BUMP for you to keep the thread alive and up in interest.
BTW I have worked there for a week on assignment. and i didnt have a car and I got by all through MRT, and wow what a breath of freash air compared to our LRT.
I have a bit of complain though... its too clean. no im just kidding. its great.

Challenging is good. We are still young. Should work hard and earn more money when we are young.

Hey,

I got a question regarding Singtel Wireless broadband. Certain packages provide a free USB wireless adapter, right?

May I know how to share the connection with 2 or more computers?

ya.
most of the packages come with free USB modem.
you have to use another USB device to do that, it can be used as USB modem and network switch.

Can you recommend some brand and its model? Because I'm not familiar with wireless hardware.

Hello, I am planning to work in Singapore next year. Out of my curiosity, how much can an engineer earn in Singapore? I have a degree in chemical engineering majoring in process engineering and have worked as a sales and application engineer for 2 years in Malaysia. Now I am thinking of working in Singapore because Singapore has better opportunity and better salary. smile.gif

you mean the usb modem + router device?
It's rare.
So far I've only seen Huawei's model at M1 outlet.

Starhub is unlimited, Singtel has got 50GB cap.
I just got myself a Starhub 2Mbps Down 512Kbps Up. 2 years contract, free modem, and 30% discount on subscription fees. Currently paying S$27.10/mo.
Installation is easy, no need CD coz they store the driver inside the USB dongle. I can get a full 2Mbps download on bt if the seeds are available.
No recommended for playing games coz latency is too high.
