Wat i mean here is currently there are 2 Malaysian PR as couples working in SG, either husband or wife convert to Singaporean citizen, the other remain as Malaysian.. Hence, this pair of couple have both the benefits of owning a new HDB and buying a property in Malaysia later on.
Yup, you can do that. But only makes sense if your family income (total of both husband & wife) are below the income ceiling (S$8K) to buy HDB flats.

Actually, do jobs in Malaysia pay well? No?

I see the credit card requirements is also RM30K, some cards even RM18K.

RM30K translates to like S$1000+ monthly salary requirement which almost everyone working in Singapore can apply.

if Condo price drop, HDB price will follow. And with the hiring freeze in financial sector, the demand is very low now. I guess very soon will see some good bargain.

My friend is trying to get into Big4...she's a graduate from Adelaide Uni, Accounting, good in doing stuff related to taxation (I guess S'pore gov will love her). Is she going to have a hard time finding a job there?

What about working for Sg gov? Is there such a rule as only PR can work for them?

hi,

Any of your company needs IT application security assessment or Security policies development etc here in Singapore? Asking on behalf of my friend who is an expert in this. Let me know if there is any. Thanks.

Anyone know the income ceiling S8k is before deduction of CPF or after deduction? If after deduction mean the gross salary can be like 10k per month as 20% go to CPF.
