I graduated from a UK uni majored in Electronics Engineering. Graduated with second upper and now working as a Purchasing Agent with 1.6k per month. I am seriously sad. I turned down an offer by LTA as project engineer last week (they offered me 2.5k) because they told me i need to work at the site (I am a girl, hello?). So now i need to start seraching again..so stressful...sighzzzzz...

Yeah i know i am far way underpaid. I only working for 3 months now...sighzzz...reli stressful and i am wondering was it a right decision to reject the 2.5k job

Just saw your question.erm...my mind set is that i wan to do something that related to marketing or finance or consultancy. yeah i discussed with my families and frens. My parents actually gave me freedom to choose by myself. And my friends telling me that, if u are feeling unsure or unhappy about it, then just dont do it. and keep on applying. But i am not so sure that is that my major allowed me to find a job in marketing +finance..no idea

I am using xunlei for 2 months. So far...no problem.havent being caught. and the DL speed can up to 250kb/sec. hehe

Some stuff that need your advice

1. I am switching job. But my new company want me to start working immediately. So i cannot give one month notice so i guess i need to pay for one month salary for my current company. Its there any possibility that i do not need to pay that one month of salary?

2. I feel like cheating my current company that i am going back to Malaysia, but if i said i go back to m'sia i need to pay the tax rite? (because i have yet to reach 6 months working here). Is it good to cheat them about this? coz i scare being whacked if i said i switch job.

Help~~ dilemma~

aihhhh i got 3rd interview interview invitation from a MNC as software engineer on the 18th December 2008. Then my current company (which is SUPER small and low paid) doesnt allow me to take leave. So the interview postponed to 22-Dec-08 afternoon. Then the HR gal suddenly call me in the morning on 22-Dec that the manager suddenly got urgent stuff need to go France. so my interview kena postponed. So after 1 week i called, she say manager coming bck on 5th-Jan, will let me know if any updates. Then today i called again, she said " OH, i check whether the manager back or not and let you know" .... sighz.....feel like hangus d....so hard only got until 3rd stage. sad la... If can get there is an SGD 1k increment in my salary SAD!! Any hope ar?? Sumore they already ask me bring my passport there, make me feel like confirm getting it..now feel like hopes shattered

My friend working as junior editor with one of the big 4 (the one start with K) and the starting starting salary is 2.3k

From what I heard is, for those who holding EP, SP or WP only need to convert their malaysia license to singapore licence by taking a theory test. For those who are PR needs to do driving test + thoery test and pay a good amount of money to get the license * not sure on this though*

I think quite alot, just browse thru straits time during staurday, but some of it are fakes.haha~ THE LYN for singapore is hardware zone. Just go google for it
