You should do it now, in a month's time new shoots will be budding out all over, then select the the branches you
want to keep, let them grow bigger before wiring and bend to the shape you like.

Ok thanks.

Will do it now and update on this tree in a few months after wiring it into style.

Wow! drool.gif

What healthy JPB you have! If I can I'll do the same, import 100 nos of JBP.

But my miserable JBP are full of yellow tip needle.

Could it be too hot down here?

Hi Proton wira,

Do u mind telling how you can keep all your JBP in such a good healthy look.
do you cut short the needle and remove any candles?

From the photos, you got lot of good stuff on the bench too ! blink.gif

Mind to show off ? drool.gif

Cedar - Initial Bonsai Shaping.

This 5 ft tall cedar has been decorated as Christmas Tree for a couple of years during Christmas season.

The faith of it to become Christmas tree again has ended but the chance to become an awesome bonsai has began. icon_idea.gif

Attached Image with more than 80% of the foliage cut off but with roots undisturbed...

Hi all sifu,
I'm so happy finally got kakis for bonsai here. I'm pretty newbie to bonsai eventho I've read a bit on it. Bought a few from San Fong 2 years ago but didn't really look after them until quite recently. Since then I've been hooked on it. Bought a few more trees 2 weeks back tongue.gif... Hope to learn more from the sifus. Great to know u all here. Took me 2 days to read the recent posts.
