Hi, my hobby is plant bonsai. what is bonsai?
bonsai is jus like a scene(mountain tree, great rock etc) and minimized in to a plant.
bonsai need spend a lot of time and patience, you cant get a bonsai in one day, one week or even 1 year, of cos i mean DIY.
patience is virtue, you can learn moral value, patience etc etc. you will experience a lot of thing, sometime squeeze your brain to how to create, design.
you need put a lot effort to bonsai, love them.

need a lot of thing to learn, as i jus a newbie(as it always be). even master need to learn!

so i hope you guy can share your experience, info, skill, opinion, comment, .... so be patience...

Good to know there are bonsai kaki here, I'm also in the process of learning stage, already have some collection in my house, most of the time try to look for semi completed I mean from raw material.

i went to MAHA 2008..
IINM got sell bonsai @ Hall A or B there..
got 4+year old bonsai also..

i got some of santalia last time..

i like bonsai also......but very expensive...i saw in the shop...

Bonsai very suitable for diorama with figures... Hmm...

yes, there are very expensive...but it also depend the condition 1. for small 1 some can get ard 100 - 300 but some will cost few thousand.

how do you shape your bonsai? how do you wrap it along the branches?

u can use the aluminium wire ( special for bonsai used 1 ) then wrap the branches u wan to shape.

they are from Malacca i think.. got so many size also..
i bought the aluminium wire just Rm2 one roll.. but that one i think not very long.. enough edy for small bonsai..

yes, 1 roll ard RM2 - RM3 depend the size....normaly there count by kilo, 1 kilo RM50.
