New N82 user here. Sold my K810 and bought this phone on last Sunday. So far, it's a nice phone. Pack with a lot of things.... Mine is a black AP set. Bought at RM1400 with 4Gb memory. This post has been edited by gjoey: Sep 24 2008, 09:15 AM |

QUOTE(NewbieBetta @ Sep 24 2008, 01:06 AM) anyone here make double backup?by copying whole thing directly from memory card into hdd & by using NSU to backup aswell...NSU very slow la..sien NSU is not for backup. It is Nokia Software Updater, i.e. to update firmware. I think you mean Nokia PC Suite.I do double backup, but not that way. I backfrom Phone Memory into Memory Card Menu -> Tools -> Utilities -> Memory -> Options -> Backup Phone Memory -> Yes Once done, I take out the micro-SD and plug into PC USB reader. I zip the entire E:\ (including system and hidden files) into a WinZip file. If I lost my phone, what I do is buy a new N82, extract ZIP files into E:\ Then plug into new N82, and run Restore Phone Memory. All things back to normal immediately. |

Yeah
Overall very satisfied the new improvement. Browsing through menu is very fast! Music player no longer need to wait but I will not use it anymore because I have Ipod touch to take over his job. |

Scary leh if update failure brick my own phone. Is there any major change with the battery life? That is my main concern over the new firmware update. Don't mind sharing any major changes to your N82 after update? Thxs!
