Close GMXT. Goto E:\ and run the Garmin*.sis file to install and upgrade to 5.00.00

You manage to copy into Memory Card, but not yet install only tongue.gif

But i did in this way, i did not uninstall previous version, like cute-boboi way, copy and paste to memory card, and do the installation from phone, no need to delete sw.unl, coz from the information,

* You must have a previous version of the XT software installed on your SD card to have all of the help files, voice files and basemap files. These are not included with this update.
* During installation, you will be prompted to turn on your Garmin GPS. Please Note: You will not gain access to Garmin Online features and/or the navigation will be unavailable without connecting your Garmin GPS.
* Please save all appropriate data before beginning the update.

No need uninstall/delete. After you run the Setup.exe and extract into Memory Card, safely remove hardware and just run the file in E:\Garmin*.sis to install and upgrade it.

Of course, it is always recommended to backup the saved waypoints, etc. first.

doh.gif Plug N82 as USB Transfer
Run the downloaded Setup.exe, follow instruction, let it finish
Safely remove hardware.
Let N82 run/hang for a while
Once stable, then try open GMXT, if screw up...
then use File Manager goto E:\ (Memory Card) and run the Garmin*.sis file to install manually

If still cannot, delete these two files, and start all over again to extract from setup.exe again.

(SD card)\Garmin\Apps\Symbian\res\GarminMobileXT.SIS
(SD card)\private\10202dce\GarminMobileXT_PA.SIS
