Mine is 0566174 oso, so now i'm using NSS to change the product code and do the update

Finally finished update to V30.0.019 with product code 0561043: RM-313 MALAYSIA, comfirm that got simplified chinese, english, malay in phone language and writting language, all ahem softwares is working, contacts, sms all remain in phones, ahem NGAGE is working oso

Soli for the music player i can't answer you, coz i never use the N82 music player, and i installed 3rd party music player software to listen music, for the stability issue, still under testing, coz jz finished update the firmware

Try to check your product code under what region, coz even APAC region got a lot of different countries oso

Added on September 23, 2008, 7:30 amV30 firmware update with product code 0561043 no proplems with chinese and japanese fonts display, I access yahoo japan and show nicely, all my chinese mp3 also show correctly, and for writting language definitely got simplified chinese input

Actually my product code is 0566174, I used NSS to change my product code to 0561043, and do the update, no side effect at all

If your's is original set i not suggest you to change the product code, but if AP set, i think should be no problem, coz the AP supplier also simply flash the phone with various version of firmware, if not how can the middle east version phone can display chinese characters, jz my little opinions lah

It's ok, let share our experience after upgrade to V30

I think that's the bulit in features of new v30, at the moment no way to remove it

Actually u no need to do the *#7370# reset, I jz directly upgrade the firmware without reset, and after upgrade all my applications installed still remain and function, because when you *#7370# reset, your phone back to factory default

Mine 'share online' is working without any problems

Yes, new v30 firmware cannot install this two, so u need to installed it first before u update

U need to fully charged and then unplug charger b4 update, coz yesterday when i want to update i plug in charger, NSU said that i'm low battery level oso if still charging

For my v30 firmware update experience,
1) No, All applications, contacts, sms still remain in my N82 after upgrade (But suggest to backup your contacts and information from phone memory)
2) No, all my ahem applications still fully working and function (suggest to install all the applications that you need before you update)
3) I just left my memory card inside the phone while update
