I emailed Sharp using the sharp website contact form for product inquiry and never got any response from their customer service. To me that is very lousy service quality.
My unit consumes more power in terms of full load wattage compared to othersYork or Panasonic normal models but it is actually very quiet. In terms of cooling, it is satisfactory. I find that York's compressor is a bit noisy while the Sharp is quite quiet.

I emailed tonnes of company with official website but useless email add also... Somehow they still cannot see the effectiveness of ICT, or their IT staff are underpaid.. biggrin.gif

i just purchase Panasonic 1hp air cond (CS-S10KKH) @ RM1178 at Jusco but i choose to use outside installer. Jusco charge Rm320 for this inverter air cond installation. So i call Yik Loong in puchong they quote me RM 250. Is this price ok?

Just make sure Yik Loong know it is for an INVERTER installation BEFORE they come! Please confirm this and the cost of the length of the electrical and copper piping to the compressor to PREVENT mis-understanding!

Just bought 3 aircons non-inverter
Acson 1hp, York 1.5hp, Acson 2.0hp

All for RM3800 include installations.

York and Acson exactly the same manufacturer.

For inverter, better to get Daikin as it can use the piping same as non-inverter.

save electricity ma and its a well establish brand. About the price whether include installation or not I have to check with my aircond man becos they only install all my aircond today. I used his service becos he is my company aircond maintenance people for more than 10 years already. You can contact him directly, Lim 019-2703277. smile.gif

i bought 3 unit of same 1hp a/c for 3 different room... seem the 2 room temperature cooler than my room if same setting... only differences are the 2 compressor installed at open area and my compressor installed at compartment area and felt that the exhausted hot air still circulate around and hot air may suck back into compressor and lead slower cooling effect...

just wondering do i require to install exhaust ducting on a/c compressor if located at compartment area? and i recall the phileo damansara office... quite number of compressors installed ducting to lead hot air direct to outside... i think should have some cooling effects there...

anywhere i can obtain 16"-18" of ducting size? i checked with big DIY hardware shop the biggest was 12"...
