QUOTE(asiatrader98 @ Jul 6 2009, 12:15 PM) I am going to move to the new 3 sty house i wonder is there any problem to move the exiting air-con i have with my present house to new one or not since the conditions are still great (but te ages for those air-cons are 3 years, 8 years & 15 years) or shall I buy the new one? wa so old age already the aircon better leave them alone, mishandling of the aircon will spoil the aircond coil you will incur higher cost beside aircond nowadays is dirt cheap.

If i may know why u choose mitsu instead others? coz i'm also hunting for AC unit... save electricity ma and its a well establish brand. About the price whether include installation or not I have to check with my aircond man becos they only install all my aircond today. I used his service becos he is my company aircond maintenance people for more than 10 years already. You can contact him directly, Lim 019-2703277.

QUOTE(jusco1 @ Mar 4 2010, 04:12 PM) some ppl like to go full force... like 16 celcius and full fan blowing.. that i assume will take up lot of electricity... i bought 1.5hp pana for living room and another ion 1hp pana for my mbr. tested recently... seems ok.. as my unit still empty.. waiting to be moved in... price around 1200.... My previous experience with National 1hp aircond that I use for about 5 years, its cooling but very very noisy when the cover become loose somewhere after 2 years of usage, the rattling cover can't be fix according to the aircond installer, what a joke

QUOTE(kucingfight @ Mar 8 2010, 11:06 PM) Enquired some aircons today Taman Alam Megah, shah alam (all prices with installation) Daikin 1hp = rm1050 Daikin 1hp inverter= rm1400 Toshiba 1hp non inverter= 1150 Toshiba 1.5hp non inverter= rm1430 (went for this) Mitsubishi 1.5hp (not mr slim)- mitsubishi industries = rm1399 (according to shop owner, better than mr slim, which is under mitsubishi electric) MY OWN DIY Maintenance - clean the filter once in 3months - clean the roller blower(damn thick dust built up) at least 5mm. painstakingly use cotton bud to slowly clean every crevices. u can't imagine how fast the dust builds up. takes me approx 3hours to clean it Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is under mid-low end range, quality is not so good compare to Mr Slim which is MEQ. The shop is not telling the true fact. If the price RM1399 is for non-inverter I think is expensive. If its for inverter then the price is not bad.
