Are those outdoor water filter (sand type) typically the same for all brands? There are so many of it with different pricing. If no which is the best type of filtering and economical? For this sand type filtering what are the things that we should concern? Thx

I have Barrier Grand at home, the filtration capacity about 1.8L for 3.6L pitcher and changing of filter every 2 months.

Usually I will boil the filtered water especially to make hot drinks then the rest will store it in normal pitcher

The water taste quite good compared to before filtration.

Home Fix 1U and BV does sell Brita (Grand) and Novita brand pitcher with their additional filters rclxms.gif

All Sand filtration External Water Filter are not made equal. Most of them are OEM, but that doesn't matter, most important is the inside the Sand Media are what type and where did it came from (imported).

The PVC piping change to Brass if your place is xposed to Sun UV light, and the body vessel try look for Fibre-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) or Stainless Steel (SS). The sand sometime might goes into your house tank (a little bit). Often need to do backwash, normally changing the media filter are rougly 5 years time.

Yes, I heard someone said Ace selling IC-EZ-1 below RM100. BUT, which Ace?? Tell me then I buy at Ace only. Now I already go to Ace Dpulze, Ace Mines, and Ace Midvalley. Don't have head or catridge level 1 or level 4.

If IC-EZ-4, price is RM300. Better u take IC-EZ-1 + RC-EZ-4 price RM330. Head EZ-1 and EZ-4 same.

RC-EZ-4 is RM240.

All price is today currency.

Who else wanna combine? If not i just buy mine..

I went to Ace @ IPC, got EZ-1. EZ-4 not selling at Ace. Online can get, Amazon but buy in bulk can cheaper the shipping cost if average it out.
