Anybody use outdoor filter... Hydroguard Royal by Brondal?

does water pressure become low after the filter?

I was quoted Rm2998 (sales person mentioned the actual price is rm4k+) for manual back wash...

Anybody know whether can get cheaper for this?

I have a Culligan indoor - under/above sink water filter. Can even filter out VOC out of the water.

Many water filters here in Malaysia are over priced and giving false information. They over rate their own filters for sake of getting higher margin (by charging higher to customers). This is a fact. Water filters in Malaysia are over priced if you want to get a good one. What i am selling is Culligan (made in USA) and can filter out VOC. So there.

yup 3M is very small and does not require backwash, very suitable for condo. However, before installation, nd to check with management as well. For more info, jus drop by our showroom

I suggest getting a good filter like Culligan and put it indoor (under sink). It can filter out those VOC gasses inside the water, something other filter can't

CLick below to see the Culligan filter.

I guess your membrane is already broken. Membrane filter is prone to be broken and become total damage.

Why didn't u consider a sand based outdoor filter before?
*
Sand based outside is a good pre-filter.

Ok thanks a lot for ur sharing. Now I got it.

But isn't that PVC is easier for maintenance and safer since bras will get rusty?
*
Should not use the PVC for exposed to sun light. Harmful in the long run especially if use for water drinking purposes. Yes, boiling do remove harmful VOC inside. Better to use PVC pipes that are UV light resistant.

Fair enough. Do you plan to bring in Cullingan IZ-EZ-4 ?  It is way cheaper than 3M AP easy complete. Both are NSF 42 & 53 certified.

Actually there is a local company selling Culligan EZ-4 water filter and cartridge. They sell it via lelong.com.my it seems. The Culligan EZ-4link.
