Can you guys suggest a refrigerator that capacity around 600L with 5 attached rating?
My mum wish to get two units fridge, one for wet kitchen and another for dry. For wet kitchen I’ll go for Beko RDNT231I50VZS, while dry kitchen still no idea yet. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « What I did was go to those big electrical shops (HN, HLK, Grand Senheng, etc.), bring along a measuring tape, and start checking all the fridges available there. Of coz you can check from the specs online, but physical touching, seeing the shelves, etc. will make it easier for you to choose. |

QUOTE(lankorn @ Mar 4 2023, 12:57 AM) Guys gone through few comments here but still need some enlightments.I will go for Panasonic after seeing the good reviews here. 1) I have SBS & top bottom. I prefer SBS for usage. My frequently used stuff is easily access in eye level. Which one is good and reliable 1)SBS vs top-bottom vs French 2)Top freezer vs Bottom freezer 2) I own both. Bottom freezer feels like it has a bigger freezer/easier to use, due to drawer design. Again, on paper bottom freezer is better, but I think if you use freezer less the bottom design makes more sense. Again eye level and accessibility. I’ve got a Panasonic, 3 Samsungs and 1 Midea. All so far so good. lankorn liked this post

SBS and French door main difference is in the refrigerator IMO. SBS has the whole height of the fridge thus more generous with height spacing. Even with the newer slimmer and taller design for canned drinks, it is not a problem. French door does feel a bit inconvenient when you open the wrong side and also the height problem for certain tray level unless you sacrifice 1 level in the middle.Which one is good and reliable 1)SBS vs top-bottom vs French 2)Top freezer vs Bottom freezer I think top and bottom freezer dont really differ that much in terms of power consumption, given it's all inverter now. lankorn liked this post

SBS vs French door, I prefer French door. Just dislike the column in the middle for SBS. Also SBS compartment wont be wide enough to accommodate some wide items that normally fits typical fridge design Which one is good and reliable 1)SBS vs top-bottom vs French 2)Top freezer vs Bottom freezer In the end it really boils down to personal preference This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Mar 4 2023, 01:11 PM lankorn liked this post

Currently toying between these 2 models, can't made up my mind yet. I have listed out the + and - points based on my observation for each of them:
1) Toshiba GR-AG66MA (link here) + Cheaper (3k vs 3.8k if based on the price in Shopee) + Auto ice maker (convenient) + Nicer gradient door colour pattern + Dairy tray on top of the fridge + Door pocket with cover, good for cosmetics with more separation from food stuff - Auto ice maker (took up some space at both the fridge and freezer area, and if it breaks down then the space will be wasted for nothing) - Handle need to open from the top of the door instead from the side 2) Hitachi R-VG750PM-1 (link here) + Look more elegant and nicer vertical handle + Wider with smaller depth, make it easier to put stuff in and out + Flexible manual ice maker - Price is higher (3.8k vs 3k if based on the price in Shopee) - Only black colour glass door available - fingerprint magnet - Dairy tray at the bottom of the fridge (above the vege tray) Would like to see for some comments here, if any other considerations I shall put in place? Any existing users to share some feedback? Also in term of after sales support, how is Toshiba vs Hitachi? Thanks in advance |
