Currently under investigation....

At certain times of the day, I'm only getting 480kbps to 500kbps.. this is not only VERIFIED by Speedtest.net but also by my modems internal modulation status, in fact I used 2 different modems for this. mad.gif

Also my connection returns to normal which 1Mbps for only SHORT periods of time.... then it starts going downhill again... shakehead.gif

Certainly something is amiss.... Will check this out time to time for the next few days... mad.gif

Note: Does anyone notice that TMNutz's Speedometer is always kinda "busy"? Can't even use it at all... doh.gif

maybe a lot of people want to test the speed of their connection. with this extreme slowdown, who doesn't want to test their connection. plus maybe they were instructed by tmnut customer service. just my 2cent..

Welcome to the club. Btw, does that speed also apply to normal http downloads too? Or was that only for torrents or everything?

What ip pool are you on?124?118?
Agreed, I'm stuck on these two ip pools, can't get around it either. Checked routing to multiple places on the planet - bad speeds/pings/routing/etc. On the other hand, oddly enough, today my downloads from the ftp.freebsd.org server is "so so" peaking at around 90KB/s when I usually get 140+. I guess we just have to wait for a lil bit till they get their crap together.

Check for bt throttling <-- in the meantime, just for shits n giggles, you can check this.

Also, I should have also mentioned earlier that the rst packets only affect uploads. Secondly, my ssh and ssl *MIGHT* be throttled due to them giving a lower priority on encrypted traffic [which also will affect things like vpns if that is the case], but like I said, gotta wait for them to get off their ass. Anyone else here able to verify slower speeds on encrypted traffic? It seems that some people are still getting decent speeds for their torrents etc so it might be an issue that affects certain locations. You guys needs to also add in your posts what location you are at which might help, and mention whether you are getting good or bad speeds in that area so we can get a general overview and idea of what's going on.

the test... i passed all.. but i still SLOW LIKE HELL in actual bt dl...

Telekom should spend less money buying foreign companies. Use that money to make sure there are more bandwidth for customers!

in the mind of telekom, making money is the top priority as there is virtually no competitive at all in local market. so, what for they upgrade their equipment just to make their customer happy? customer got no choice but to stick to streamyx though we have lots dissatifaction... am i right? see we are screaming like no body's business here, but ironically streamyx is still the one that connect us here...
