i thinks PBB's Manchester United CC is one of their crown. ppl apply it, not bank go promote it. last time when lunch at the PBB HQ, always see the banner. wondering how many ppl got this CC.

For Flex card, you will be charged annual fee in monthly basis if you cannot swipe for 2 time in that particular month.

I have been using Petronas MBB CC for months. I didn't request for Zing card even though it's free. They're promoting it because of the recent petrol hike worries and bla bla.

By the way, did they say that they have extend the 5x TP for MBB Petronas CC to end of the year? I didn't see any official announcement at M2U.

I have a PBB card because of the car loan too. There is only a cash rebate depending on usage.. and it's not too attractive. First tier is 0.3%.

What annoyed me was they hold on to the cash rebates (have yet to get mine credited although it's nearly a year) and the amt of rebates for different cards (visa or master) are tracked separately although it is a shared credit limit. Since the rebate is already so low, it just forces you to move all spending to one card to try and hit the next tier, making the other card useless.

I applied flex card 2 years ago but terminated it after 1-2 months.Reason was they forced you to spend at least RM300 per mth for to waive the monthly charges. They were stupid enough to realize later it was not a popular T&C and changed it last year (if i'm not mistaken) to only 2 transactions per month.

Finally Citibank have given the rebate back to me after swiping at Shell.. time to cancel the Citibank Shell card. YIPPEEE !!!!!!!!!!!

Folks .... Citibank has (I think) revised their T&C for the Shell Card. (Ad theSun - 29th July 2008)

It is now 2.5% rebate on Shell fuel, 0.75% for other purchases and does not require Carry Forward balance to enjoy the rebates.

New approved cardmembers will enjoy 30 days of double rebates + the GPS Bay 3303 for only RM399

haha.. the competition for CC is so stiff nowadays we can just ignore those cards that are not giving us satisfaction. but seriously those CC that have so many T&C will just lose out in the end.

RM200 item on RM2k spending?! hMmm..... well that's like 10% give back; v good v good - what item btw?! *grins* Act, it also depends on where U spend that RM2k - if U spent it at Parkson that would mean 20,000 points. If U spent it at Jusco that would mean 4000 points.
