Actually got what kind of different for the types? As i know is classic / gold / platinium... My friends want know the basic one! Really noob at here!

First, U should stop calling urself a n00b. You're 21 and it's time U took some initiative to look for information.

Besides the usual Classic/Gold/Platinum card there are also co-branded cards. There are just too many to mention here.

The most basic requirement before U can apply for a CC is that U need to be >21 years old. Income requirement at the v most basic is RM24k p/annum. Different cards from different banks have different criterias so U still need to go through the many different websites.

for your level, you only need to know Classic card. other than that, no need at movement.

Got my CIMB DA. Pretty fast. Applied last Friday. Hmm, no info received on online statement, there is no such thing?

Let's say my combined limit is 8k, it means I can still charge 8k to one card right?

For online statement, you need to apply for PIN (ATM access) and perform CIMBClicks Internet Banking registration.

How many cards did U receive from DA? Combined CL usually refers to the principle card + supplementary cards. You normally will get 2 separate CLs if the bank gave U a Visa & a MasterCard

Maybe they follow MBB system. Multiple cards share one combined CL.

Not in the case of CIMB DA. If you applied for 2 cards then they both share the same credit limit.

I still remember there was a PDA shop in 1 utama few years back. I asked one of their staff regarding the difference between the various PDA they displayed. The staff asked to do a survey in the internet. What the f**k? Customer was asked by the staff to do survey on his own??

Of course the shop 'chap lap' (closed shop) not long after that.

MBB Petronax 5x TP is over already right?

No more extension I believe. M2U is not updated with this if there's really an extension.

Today is already 1 August!

I asked the people at the fair and they said it has been extended to Dec 31.

Did not notice any waiver offers. Do highlight if anyone got one... might pick up an Amex if the offer is good.

I thought someone mentioned MBB's giving a 1 year waiver on annual fees for the Amex cards. The other cards get 3 years.

I called MBB CS and they said the MBB Petronas 5x TP has been extended to end of the year.

I just got my first Amex statement today, no RM50 charge for turbo points, no charge for supplementary card and I get 4x bonus points. Spent RM723 this month and ended up with 3615 points already. Not a bad deal I must say.

oOh! U signed up for Amex too?! *damn* And.. just to check; did U haf to 'enrol' for Turbo points?! I read on their website that Turbo points was till March 2008; we're definitely way past that date now.

4x bonus points?! HmMm....... that's nice. And I've absolutely NO idea how U people spend so much! I was out to din again last night but again that restaurant doesn't accept Amex *siGh*
