Guys, just wanna check.. anyone heard of CCJ Consultant based at Taman Desa? Received a text from them saying they can help to do refinance property even though the name is blacklisted. Scam?

there is no bank in malaysia can approved your loan if you in blaclisted in CCRIS record. there is only person said can approved is call Ah Long.
Always walk in to bank to do inquiry, more secure, information is more accurate and is free of charge.

i frequently check my ccris online. i have a house loan approved somewhere in march last year - placed under the 'application for credit'.

when i check in February, the housing loan is still there however this month it disappear from the list..!! i check if somehow it move up to 'outstanding credit' but nope, its not there.

is this normal.. for the loan missing from ccris? fyi i haven't start paying for the loan yet (same goes to other house owner)

i called BNM but they said i need to check with the bank itself. i call the bank service center, they couldn't find my housing loan. but i spoke with my banker - he said the loan is still there.

i know it sounds stupid - for me to believe the loan is cancelled. anyhow i will be informed right..? just that, i feel disturb with this issue.. T__T

When Financial Institution does a hard pull on CTOS record, do they get the latest report and scoring?

Coz in 2016, i purchase CTOS report, and in there got score (poor rating) and special attention.

But special attention sudah clear, and score should go better. But i havent purchase the latest report.

My scared is that FI is referring to the last score i got when i purchade the report!

They will only pull your CCRIS record. Score is done by CTOS internally by CTOS using their own criteria.
Financial institution has its own credit health/rating evaluation themselves. They don't really rely on external score like CTOS Score.

Dats good to know. But if they were to obtain the CTOS record, they would be getting the latest report and score, right?

Latest CCRIS report for sure since it's centralized in BNM database.
That CCRIS report has no score as I had explained earlier.

Hi guys,

i just check my credit score
my record is good

but due to ptptn, i can't apply any credit card
there was late payment but i already applied for default since that time i dont have a job yet

once I got a job, i immediately paid all my outstanding but in the summary of credit score
it said, due to late payment last year it is affecting my status to apply any CC.

so what should i do to clear that up?

Same as CCRIS.
CTOS score varIes in monthly bassis too as it depends on the CCRIS.

12 months.
If your have a bad record on July 2018, It'll clear out by June 2019 unless that record is being removed due to complete or full settlement.

I tried with the exact scenario you're having, clearing credit card outstanding before 1st of month. And any usage of credit card after 1st of month would not fall into that month's Ccriss.

Example:

25 Oct - You have credit card outstanding RM1000
30 Oct - You clear it immediately (Via online instant transfer, cheque will have delay). You have RM0 outstanding now.
31 Oct - You have RM0 credit card outstanding <-- This is what bank usually capture for next month Ccriss update
5 Nov - You use your credit card for RM2000
10-15 Nov - Bank will update your Ccriss record based on 31 Oct outstanding which is RM0

I assume you're timing this for certain credit facility application.

Hope this helps.

Hi. I saw your explaination on this.

How about this?

Credit Card card cut off for statement is 20th monthly.

1. Total spending 2.5k
2. Statement out - captured 1k [payment due]
3. I paid the statement due 1k [clean].
4. The remaining balance of 1.5k is not due yet [next april 20th statement].

Will the bank capture the 1.5k and reflect into CCRIS or will it state total outstanding 1.5k in ccris?

Should I clear the 1.5k so when end month bank report to ccris will show 0.00 outstanding? or no need?

I planning to get a house loan soon. So want the very best to ensure the ccris is good even all the credit cards and car loan i paid on time with '0 every month.

I try to correlate the numbers in CCRIS with PBB statement. I couldn't find the exact number.
I believe it'll capture the latest unbilled outstanding as of last day of the month.
Which the number being punched to the CCRIS is the balance on the date itself or one or two days earlier, I'm not so sure.

Date Balance Updated may not be the latest outstanding as of the date.
