Added on March 27, 2009, 10:56 pm The fireworks display (hanabi) is during summer which is usually held between July - August. Nearly every weekend there'll be fireworks display at different locations in Tokyo. Added on March 28, 2009, 9:39 amDear all, just got an info forwarded mail to me (dunno the seller same person or not as before?); JR Open Tickets-Go almost anywhere for one low (Mar 27) Thanks for your mail. The last day you can use it is April 10th so the expired date is the 11th. That`s why the price is so cheap. You can go from Tokyo to Sapporo or Tokyo to Kyushu for one low fare! Travel any other way and the fare costs so much more. You can share it with your friends, even 2, 3, or 4 people can use it on the same day! l have had a lot of interest from the ads l have placed so please reply as soon as possible if you want them or not. Barbi in Hyogo smilingteacher@gmail.com 4 Seishun 18 Tickets available for 9200 yen a set, that is only 2300 yen a ticket! Good for all local, rapid, and special rapid trains on the JR line. I used it from Tokyo to Himeji a few days ago but still have 4 tickets left on it since it must be bought in a group of 5. Unlike other tickets, this ticket you can share with one friend or 4 friends on a group outing! There are 4 tickets for a total of 9200 yen (2300 yen each). They must be bought together. They are good on almost every JR line and ferry. The name of the ticket is called Seishun 18 kippu. You do not have to be a youth to use them, any age is fine, even though they are called Seishun in the title. You can get on and off the train and exit the station as many times as you like on the day you use it. Yes, they are transferable so you can use them with your friends and family! They are a very good value especially for day trips to see cherry blossoms or long distance travel. In the past I have gone numerous times from Tokyo to Kansai and back on it. I have also gone from Osaka to Kyushu with it. Very useful and you get to see a lot of Japan. Set your own pace since you can also get off the train whenever you like and get back on using the same ticket since it is a one day pass that is good for 24 hours! Best offer gets all 4 tickets! Payment to postal account or other options considered. Photos are available also. Copied from WikiTravel: The Seishun 18 Ticket (青春18きっぷ Seishun jūhachi kippu) [1] is a discount rail ticket offered by Japan's JR network. When available (three times a year), it is easily the cheapest way to get around Japan, costing only ¥11,500 for five days of unlimited travel. JR argues that "in general, the Japan Rail Pass offers a much better deal to almost all foreign travelers." However, the two are hardly comparable for a number of reasons. The Japan Rail Pass, which offers unlimited travel on almost all JR trains for a 7, 14, or 21-day period, caters to tourists who are planning to visit various points in Japan, and who want to save as much time as possible along the way. It costs much more than the Seishun 18 Ticket, but allows holders to use express and Shinkansen trains that can be many times as fast. The Seishun 18 Ticket, on the other hand, caters to budget conscious travelers who are willing to sacrifice speed for the ability to get just about anywhere in the country for under ¥5,000. In fact, its name literally means "Youth 18," and its main target audience is college students. However, anyone can purchase the ticket, regardless of age, student status, or nationality.
