Indeed.
For those working or studying in Tokyo, most are staying on the outskirts area of Chiba, communiting everyday to the metropolis.
Cheap rents there are the main factor.

Work:
I'm in the designing field.
I'm no expert in finding jobs in Japan laugh.gif
Just the same normal procedure anywhere:
- send resume
- interview
- yes or no answer from the company tongue.gif
Its just luck biggrin.gif
Top of the ice cream --> with good conversational Japanese language, the chances are higher thumbup.gif

Advice on places in Tokyo:
Akihabara: Heaven of gadgets, games and toys biggrin.gif
Shinjuku: Heaven of shopping rclxm9.gif
Shibuya: Heaven of fashion rclxms.gif
Roppongi: Heaven of nightlife brows.gif

There's one too many 100 Yen shops around my house laugh.gif

Same goes for convenient stores, too many of em tongue.gif

- Family Mart
- Lawson
- 7-Eleven
- Sunkus
- am pm
- etc.

As of 2005, there were 43,667 convenience stores in Japan. Among them, 7-Eleven leads the market with 11,310 stores, followed by Lawson and FamilyMart biggrin.gif

I'm going up Mt. Fuji next month thumbup.gif

user posted image

Information: July & August are the best time to climb Fuji-yama biggrin.gif
It is also known as the official months that the mountain is open for public to climb.
Though anyone can climb it at any season, it is not advisable except for these 2 safe months.

wah so cool bro...Odaiba whers it? how far from Takadanobaba?
*
Probably 1/2 hour.
- Takadanobaba is on Yamanote line.
- From Takadanobaba, take that Yamanote line to Shimbashi.
- Get down from Shimbashi and you can get on the Yurikamome station to go to the island biggrin.gif

Odaiba is awesome, go there one day thumbup.gif

Got Sega Joypolis Amusement Park, that Toyota museum, the Venusport shopping complex, Lego Shop, the Tokyo Big Sight (all anime events held there), etc etc.

Kamakura is south of Tokyo, facing the Pacific Ocean.
