Myself have 1 female hamster , she love to stay alone and she don't want any partner ,if i bought the partner for her sure she will bully them till die la. Now days my hamster love to eat my dog biscuit la and refuse eat her kua chi la ....

hamsater are meant to keep ALONE/SOLITARY/SINGLE.. dun get her a partner.. kuachi is nt good and dog food is not good either.. tyr to feed her Prestige hamster food or fresh vegie.. if possible try to get Taro nutri smoothie from Petshack (sunway)

hmm.. i think dog biscuits is okay but just for TREATS. SO DO KUACI
but still have stay to hamster staple food.. like humans ma, rice and veges and meat is our staple food, but burger and chocolate is for treats only

What breed is she? If it's a syrian or WW, then they are solitary. Kuaci got alot of fat. Give her a better balanced diet. Read 1st page for more info.

Lol. actually u can just read the 1st page because Crazymouse has added in alot of info. Just read and u will find.

basically i feed my hamsters 3/4Prestige+1/4 britter bunny. Fresh vege's everyday and Nezu's smoothie.

Do read the first page as everything you need to know will be there.


Oh and please do not get another syrian and mix with her, or any other breed. because syrians are solitary, and if you mix them it'll end up in death or injury.

In what circumstances a syrian will active like a winter white? is it scared or stressed or something? I saw some syrians in Pet Safari run like running for life, i thought it was some kind of disease like the ww's back flipping, but i think it's not. Anyway, they do sit still sometimes. My observation was last for 5 minutes i guess.

Added on July 7, 2008, 5:00 pmDog kibbles are ok but don't get cheap kind like Pedigree. Can try to get free samples dog food for hamster's protein. Can try Holistic garlic-free dog kibbles. Just feed about 3-5 pieces a day would do.

Kuaci also can feed but in small amounts.

Yeah, dog kibbles are good for hammie's protein. But please be aware of the protein of the dog kibbles, some may contain very high protein. I'm feeding those, just 2-3 pieces in a week.

Nezu taught me always refill the dry food's bowl when it is running out, and give as much vege/fruit as possible. Seems like this is why his/her hamster is so so big !

That's the smallest size of clay bowl. The bigger ones are for doggies or other animals. For Syrian as toilet, that one will be just nice.
