Lol. actually u can just read the 1st page because Crazymouse has added in alot of info. Just read and u will find. Added on July 7, 2008, 3:42 pm is syrian breed . i will change the food for her and see how , any good brand you are recommend me ? basically i feed my hamsters 3/4Prestige+1/4 britter bunny. Fresh vege's everyday and Nezu's smoothie. Do read the first page as everything you need to know will be there. Oh and please do not get another syrian and mix with her, or any other breed. because syrians are solitary, and if you mix them it'll end up in death or injury. In what circumstances a syrian will active like a winter white? is it scared or stressed or something? I saw some syrians in Pet Safari run like running for life, i thought it was some kind of disease like the ww's back flipping, but i think it's not. Anyway, they do sit still sometimes. My observation was last for 5 minutes i guess.

Can try to get free samples dog food for hamster's protein. Can try Holistic garlic-free dog kibbles. Just feed about 3-5 pieces a day would do.Kuaci also can feed but in small amounts. QUOTE(blurjoey @ Jul 7 2008, 04:53 PM) JY, Yeah, dog kibbles are good for hammie's protein. But please be aware of the protein of the dog kibbles, some may contain very high protein. I'm feeding those, just 2-3 pieces in a week. If you really got nothing to say then don't post this 1 liners. It makes no sense at all what you are saying at all. Nezu taught me always refill the dry food's bowl when it is running out, and give as much vege/fruit as possible. Seems like this is why his/her hamster is so so big !

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Jul 7 2008, 01:46 PM) Well it is more economical to buy the big pack about RM10+ for the cat litter than buying the small pack of hamster toilet sand for rm8+. hmm, but do they sell smaller sized claybowls? Also if I'm not mistaken that some of the hamster toilet sand are clumping kind which is bad for the hamster if long term use. That is why it is better to get the clay bowl than use plastic as some hamsters will chew on the plastic. thanks for the advice on the toilet sand QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jul 7 2008, 01:53 PM) Bathing sand doesn't deodorize pee, so it would make it sticky and very stinky. That is why got difference. Cat litter has added baking soda, which deodorizes the pee smell. I prefer the cat litter coz it comes in 5L, more economical and absorbs pee much better. normal kind right? not the scented ones? QUOTE(UNDERGROUND @ Jul 7 2008, 02:06 PM) Whoah ! Like that it's gonna last 1 year for me Maybe more I guess i will find it somewhere at Penang... Since postage is kinda expensive =_= If last one year then great la, I dont have to go buy as often lol |
