Ferro seems reluctant to take his mealies again? Why so weird wan? I thought syrians like mealies.

I just came back from Midvalley's Pet Wonderland. Their Chipsi classic has become RM 25 instead of the initial RM 21. Along with a string of other products.

Their syrians are priced at RM 35 although I don't see anything special plus many many injured hammies...There was one RC with a very bad eye infection. Still got this girl point at it and say "cutenya!"

Damn speechless.

BTW Roche's dipping habits have gone to a new level. She has created dry food dipped in smoothie and also mealworm dipped in smoothie in the past. Today she created doggie chew sticks in smoothie.

I wash the sauce dish everyday so I quite sure nothing is written on it. Maybe in Hamster language?

You not scared your poco get injured? I'm interested in feeding crickets to my syrians also, since my soon to be suggie will be eating too.  But I thought wanna refrigerate for a while let it semacam mati then only feed.

not fever or such illness. let me give an instance, let's say the worms are in different color than others? some only i guess, in white color, but the rest are in yellowish brown color? is that mean they're not healthy?

Roche particularly likes mealies that just pupate, still soft and white but already a pupa.

My mealies with me for 3 weeks jor, RM 1 still not finish. Almost everyday now will find mealies that just pupate.

i have another question, can i feed them(mealworms) bread?

if i do, will it give any harm to hammies?

so means they're safe? great news to my hammies! i bought Rm1 also, like 1 spoonful, at least 50 pieces of them i think.. two pieces a day is a proper diet to them? what if i feed staple foods and fruits & vegies as well? they looks disgusting to me, but my hammies never loose these worms off their mouth once they get a piece of them... the wormies struggle for life while they're chewing it..  feel like wanna vomit when i saw that for the first time, anyway, my goodness they like the wormies. 

i know, i know.. i gotta conquer the fear

She only like those that NGAM NGAM become pupa. Those yellowing pupa she don really like. Ferro also like those ngam ngam become pupa de.

If feed the hammie mealworms everyday, it won't get obese ? Or not healthy ?

I mean if fed on daily basis...

Oh i see, then you still give your hammie staple food ?
Then will their poo become more smelly compare to being fed with normal staple food ?

they have the origin genetic line right?, and some more their climate is a bit different from our country, can causes their genetic change also, if i've not mistaken. their size is a little too big, IMO, looks like gp...

Any shop suggest me to get all the stuff for the hamster? example: cages,food and etc
among all the species of hamster,which type is more sociable?

I agree. And never never EVER transport your hamsters in a box.

When I bought Roche, Chris put her in a box for me. On the way back we stopped at 1 utama for just 10 minutes cuz I needed to get something. We left her in the car for 10 minutes only. I was hurrying a lot cuz I don wanna leave her in the car herself. She was in a box on the front seat next to the driver's seat.

When we came back to the car, I saw her sitting on the top of the cushion seat at the back, looking out the widow and relaxing. Walau, gives the feel of christopher colombus setting his first sight on America.  She didn't enjoy us catching her back and putting her back in the box. The hole she chewed was only half the size of her body and she still managed to get out.

On the way back, I have to play "cover the hamster " cuz she got frustrated I won't let her out of the hole she chewed. Then created a few more holes.

If you're planning to kkeep a syrian I think that's definitely not big enough. The very minimum space is a place where you can fit a suitable sized wheel, a bowl and a bottle. And still have a bit of space for it to walk.

I suggest you keep robos if you have space constraint. Their wheel and bowl need not be very big since they're the smallest of the 5 breeds.

No matter the reason, trapping an animal in a space smaller than itself means it will not be able to grow to its full size properly. It might get hunched back or bad bone formation or just can't grow so big.

@Neshie: Yah I know Ocha got "big balls" as Hun puts it. You wait. Ferro will grow more manly wan.  Hehe... But to think about it, I also don wan Ferro's ball to grow so big. Later he have to drag his balls all over your hand when you handle him...
