QUOTE(ramli sarip @ Jul 9 2008, 12:57 PM) QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jul 9 2008, 01:43 PM) Actually you can run the 4850 on the Coolermaster eXtreme 500. I was using that with my 4850 before upgrading to the my current PC Power & Cooling 750watt CF Edition. |

QUOTE(Proclaimer @ Jul 9 2008, 02:13 AM) Yay.. Finally able to adjust d fan speed... Forget dat appdata is hidden.. No wonder i cant find it... I set the fan speed to 30%, my idle temp drop from 77C to 49C, even at full load the temp won't over 70C. Now da speed around 35% idle around 50-55c.. If fan at 50% idle temp will be 50c.. B4 this at stock d idle temp is 80+ .. Crazy.. Burnt my hand twice while removing d 4870.. |

4870 fan speed at stock is 23% on auto.. so when it hits 90C it will do a rapid cooling and back to 23%
35% is the sweet spot.. maintains idle at 50... load at 70 and very quiet This post has been edited by cstkl1: Jul 9 2008, 04:51 PM |
