Actually you can run the 4850 on the Coolermaster eXtreme 500. I was using that with my 4850 before upgrading to the my current PC Power & Cooling 750watt CF Edition.

Yay.. Finally able to adjust d fan speed... Forget dat appdata is hidden.. No wonder i cant find it...  doh.gif

Now da speed around 35% idle around 50-55c.. If fan at 50% idle temp will be 50c..

B4 this at stock d idle temp is 80+ .. sweat.gif

Crazy.. Burnt my hand twice while removing d 4870..  rclxub.gif

I set the fan speed to 30%, my idle temp drop from 77C to 49C, even at full load the temp won't over 70C. biggrin.gif

4870 fan speed at stock is 23% on auto.. so when it hits 90C it will do a rapid cooling and back to 23%

35% is the sweet spot.. maintains idle at 50... load at 70 and very quiet

4870, stock around 20% only, just 10% percent different the temp drop a lots.

I try to adjust from 45% until 30%, at 35% i still hear the fan sound, only 30% you can't hear the noise, and also maintain idle at 49C, and load <70C

But I like the Enermax Liberty... I really can't remember.. and I don't want to spend anymore on PSU.. but the Silverstone 560w does look good for its price.
