nice price for 4870, but almost 50% more than 4850 for 20-30% different. suited for those who need better fps on larger screen. I already saw same FPS from 1600x1200 to 1900x1200 lolz. CPU bottlenecking edi la. 4870>GTX260 anyhow. So ATI wins!

nah, if let's say u only got a budget of rm600, how the hell r u going to fork out the rm300, and the performance is not like 50% increase. Give it a break, i dont earn money, i save money. THat's y

Btw, ben_panced, can the PWM sink bundled with accelero be used on the 4850?

I installed accelero s1, run passively with a side panel fan blowing on it, i got 40c idle, 48c when load 3dmark vantage and oc'ed to 670/1010mhz.

Lol at u again pikacu, mine at STOCK cooler= 74c idle 83c load, Mine at accelero s1=41c idle 48c load.

ya i am using the pre-applied one, mx1 should be good enuf If i add another fan, it will get cooler i think hehe. Maybe gonna try next time. But the turbo module is around rm40 rite? Quite cheap also. If i wanna get bling bling quality fan+ fan controller i need to fork out another rm60 for 1 fan.

don need low profile ram sink i think, if u use accelero s1, just reposition the ram sink, maybe move out abit form the heat pipe. Btw, do i need to use rubber to rub the memory chip as stated? I scare rubbing will produce electrostatic field lol.

now my core 700mhz/ mem 1010mhz, don dare to tune the ram, scare ram very hot lolz.

1115mhz for ram?? Will overheat or not the ram? I am using accelero s1 ramsink but i din use anything to clean it, just take off the stock at stick the ram cooler.

My best clock, when at 700mhz/1120mhz, use ATITools got artifact summore the card will lock up lolz. Gonna get a 120mm fan and some cable tie later at lowyat.

700mhz/1100mhz is very stable no artifact so far, even 700mhz/1115mhz when on artifact scanner, it is like 1-2 minutes got 1 artifact, unlike my 9600gt which artifact alot when over shoot a little bit.

700mhz/1100mhz is stable, just now don dare put it on artifact scanning full time becos it runs until 61-63c max. BUt when run 3dmark vantage, only 51c only. Artifact scanning stresses the card more compare to vantage

ben, my 4850 running on atitools already 45minutes no error, btw, wat is the artifact scanning option u using? U slide to less overclocking or more overclocking, i am on the less overclocking which will detect more artifacts.
