This card is quite worth it.
I've read that HD4850 is priced at USD199 and HD4870 at USD299 and they have performances on par with GTX 260 (USD 399) and GTX 280 (USD 499) respectively. They also use less power.
I guess all we have to put up is the high temperature, though. 80 degrees at idle? thats nuts...

QUOTE(danieljoey @ Jul 9 2008, 10:14 PM) Wah nice setups... but the cable  At least that setup is better than mine. So malas already to do cable management. And now since using Xigmatek Achilles cannot close the side panel anymore Before using Achilles After using Achilles Thats an ol skool Lian Li PC-70 by the way. Man I need to get a new case BTW how come Volt's Sapphire 4870 got that RADEON sticker on it's side and mine doesn't? This post has been edited by ganaz-x: Jul 9 2008, 11:49 PM

CAn anyone run a 3dmark vantage test and tell me whether it will stutter or not? I am suffering from stutter, even at stock speed it stutter also. Stutter happens when the camera is moving, it will choke like 0.5secs.

According to the results from this site, 4870 DOESN'T perform at par with GTX 280 although 4870 beats it in terms of price to performance ratio.
