nvidia will adopt GDDR5 in 2009 with D12U GPU(after D10U) which is still 55nm tech..sounds a bit late cause ATi is developing 45nm...from GT-->D ??

QUOTE(xpresside @ Jul 1 2008, 04:17 AM) OO really? AFAIK..GDDR5 effective clock still double of it..but GDDR5 bandwidth calculation is different..its quad... it has two parallel DQ(data I/O)... if 900x4, it should be GQDR then... well..maybe any expert can explain this..i'm just tell from my reading.. |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jul 1 2008, 11:55 PM) i think 4850 got big headroom for overclocking, mine can oc stable 690/1050, more than that i think my PSU not enuf juice, becos no artifact but will suddenly like blackout no signal, then VPU recover. 4870 got 55watt balance for OCing....not sure about 4850 tho..Added on July 2, 2008, 12:25 am QUOTE(pikacu @ Jul 1 2008, 11:31 PM) which card has QDR??This post has been edited by xen0: Jul 2 2008, 12:25 AM |
