biostar Tpowe P45
i already told u guys that tweaktown were idiots the initial p45's bandwidth needs to be tuned to compete with x48's thats y it was lower... this result i did is on a unoptimized vista with a lot of junk running at the back and i am just 100 points off the gpu score compared to legitreviews with 9650quad at 4ghz.. dude the 4870 is running quad ratee 900mhz so its actually 3.6ghz and the bandwidth if u saw on my gpuz.. u need to times two.. so its 105.2gb/s This post has been edited by cstkl1: Jun 27 2008, 02:29 AM |

will post some results later crysis/cod4/age of conan/world in conflict( need to collect my copy from mid valley later)
also my personal fav... warcraft 3.. gaming on dota map after 1 hour 30 mins all ramsinks same larr.. just that i have some swiftech ram sinks available.. the idea of ram sinks is to let each mem chip dissipate heat individually rather than a collective. QUOTE(Reuben @ Jun 27 2008, 05:56 PM) http://www.guru3d.com/article/amd-ati-rade...--powercolor/17 get 8.7 beta driverCrysis shows deterioration. and i confirm this result. I am unsure if this is just another of Nvidia's dirty tricks (like Assassin's Creed and Age of Conan both being Meant to be Played games) or just poor drivers or just something up with Crossfire implementation. Not sure what review u reading le. Even Anandtech confirms this result if I am not mistaken. i hear a lot of silly things about HD4870x2 but lets think about it for a second if two hd4870 uses 4x6pin pcie that means HD4870x2 is either 2x6pin pcie + 1x8pin pcie or 2x8pin pcie... do u have psu's that can handle that?? not many ppl here does.. think about it.. judging from the hd3870 crossfire 2x6pin to hd3870x2 using 1x6pin+1x8pin this time u cant plug a 6pin into a 8pin ps solved the driver issue This post has been edited by cstkl1: Jun 27 2008, 08:11 PM |
