err.. i dunno bout u guys but the guys servicing me at the SC is polite and friendly. not lansi. maybe gaji came out aledi ?? that y their in happy mood ?

Get a quotation from Proton SC first. Then compare it to quotation outside. Why don't you try RS AUTO in Puchong? Lots of savoc.net kaki go there.

It's somewhere Bandar Puteri Puchong. Actually, i didn't know where they are until one day i've been there accidentally while eating out with my sister who stays there. biggrin.gif

Just call them up and they can give you better directions. I'm not familiar enough to give directions to go there.

i just bought second hand savvy, i wonder is it normal for Savvy AMT, when it change gear(both during manual & auto) the gear box make sound 'krakk'. The guy at puspakom said the sound normal cause of the electronic AMT. But the ' krak' really scare me la.

edit..

just googleing, and found this solution, Replace the AMT Hydraulic oil with the Original
Renaultmatic R3 SYN OIL.

http://www.savoc.net/v2/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2174

is it really solve the sound problem? anyone tried b4?

Did the last owner maintain it properly? Savvy AMT needs ELF Renaulmatic oil for the AMT transmission. I suggest you spend some money and change it to the ELF oil, because some Proton SC give you different oil which gives some problem.

Go to RS AUTO to check it up and let them do other service for you, like cleaning the sensors, TB and check up on ur 'krakk' sound.

cleaning sensor = RM30
TB = RM20
engine oil = RM 105 (roughly cos cant remmber)
amt oil = RM60 (roughly cos cant remmber also)
labour = RM20

problems like hard to start, jerking, krakk sound can be solved. ELF products is the best for our beloved Savvy.

No idea...never been there before myself coz my car still under warranty. But it should be cheaper than Proton SC. But now that 2 years warranty over, i'll go there occasionally to do non-standard service like cleaning TB, sensors etc. I'm on extended warranty for 3 years...so still got 3 years to go...but EWP does not cover a lot of things, only major parts like engine and gears.
