Uh, enough weight to allow me to maintain good form with moderate reps, usually 8-10. Depending on the exercise, it can be 3 to 10 sets. biggrin.gif

I think he meant exercises like squats. Sometimes I do that. Or lateral raises or shoulder presses. If an exercise gives you a good pump and really hits your muscles, why bother bout other less effective ones? Thats what I think. Not saying other exercises are not. I just change my workout sometimes.

Sorry, I was a bit vague in the sets part. For arms, it's usually 3-6 sets, again depending on the exercise. Stuff with up to 10 sets is like John said, squats, lateral raises, etc.

Noticed some decrease in strength. I hope it doesn't affect overall growth that much.

This uncle from my company, is around 50 years old, but still fit and looks thirty-ish. Damn respect! notworthy.gif

Do you often get comments about your chest? What are your chest exercises? Lifts, reps, sets, frequency, etc.

LOL, the picture looks better than the actual thing. My chest exercises basically Bench Press, Incline Bench Press, Vertical Chest Press and Push-ups. Basic ones. 10x4.

Just had a closer look. If those were my chests, I'd do close-grip bench presses now to grow the inner chest near the sternum. Others may correct me if I'm wrong.

That would work your triceps, not your chest.

I don't know what you mean by "explosive," but yes, dips are pretty much the only part of my routine that I enjoy.
