but please. remember, different region = different spl, which means if u are using stock spl and flash a different region rom, u'll probably get a very very very expensive paper weight

I already done finish downloaded the latest rom and just flash on my HTC Touch Diamond ~ well,I DL from official website from Asia,well .. I no need worry about that Baranic's warning ..

anybody successfully upgraded their rom?

can you share out the download?

nvm, found the link and currently downloading it. the radio that comes with the rom supposedly exhibits good reception for both phone and gps.

new user of HTC diamond here .. after i updated my quick GPS i no longer can detect my GPS .. it show icon of searching for bluetooth when i open Garmin XT mobile ... can anyone help me out ..

i formatted my phone for 3 times ... it end up the same .. kinda worried

Another this about the latest upgrade. They said it's not suitable for my device including the Southeast Asia one. Are the S/Ns located behind the phone under the battery?

yes S/N is there .. if not its on ur box

no its different. eg system full blast and ringing tone down to zero = u can play game with sound but when someone call u no ringtone

OOo...How about the msg alerts? Does it follow the system or ringing tones? Btw i also realised that if i set either ring or system tones to silent or vibrate, both of them change as well. Thanks.

Anyone able to download the new ROM from HTC SEA site? It keeps saying my phone SN is not suitable for this ROM.

Hi, do not download from there, try Asia site instead. I got the same error when I tried SEA site.

Alright, got it already. From Asia Pacific instead of SEA. Wonder why i couldnt download from SEA. Will try and update it tonight and see how it goes.

And i always have this Statkey.exe error when i was starting up my Diamond. Whats that error suppose to be?

Added on January 19, 2009, 2:54 pmi think as long as u go thru the HTC website and keyin ur serial number, you should be gettin the correct flash .. cuz they'll match ur serial number and give u the link to download the compatible software

dun download from other sites giving u a weblink as it mite not b compatible

SMS follows ringing tone. MSN alert follows system. When you set silent, you're commanding all to be silent. If you don't want it that way, just let it be level 0.

Hi, I managed to d/l the 2.03.707.2 ROM from HTC SEA site. There were actually 2 listing for this ROM for Touch Diamond; the upper one refused to acknowledge my S/N but the lower one was ok. I'm presuming there might be more than 1 type of Diamond? Like maybe different for black and white versions or something like that (wild guess)?

Anyway I've flashed it a few hours back and running now. About the only thing I've noticed else from the slider thing for incoming calls is that my device seems to be still unable to synch reliably with WMDC 6 on MS Vista 32. Initial synch upon setup was ok, disconnected device and reconnect, ok. disconnected for a few hours and reconnect, now WMDC not even detecting my device as connected. Same thing was happening with the previous ROM I used (1.907/3 I think, gotten from HTC SEA as well).

Ah well too bad.

can we install this rom through the internal storage method if hard-spl is already installed?
