U do know there's system volume and phone volume? max out both

both System Volume and Ring Volume are set to maximum.

i tried and the volume is really low....as bad as no sound at all......

aiks, why u use signed spl? lol. use developers better. signed limits u to signed roms. do be careful from now on when flashing rom because if u flash an unsigned rom, u may brick your device. u can dev hard-spl better

thats damn bad weh. i think u shud compare with someone who has a diamond, or go SIS care centre and compare there, and straight lodge complaint if got huge difference and claim warranty

Remember to collect your stock SPL version and the stock ROM (stock ROM contains the stock Radio ROM too). When you're requesting warranty service, you can flash back to its original state. Remember to flash the ROM first before flashing the SPL. The other way around, it'll be good as dead.

For SIS Malaysian Touch Diamonds, the stock SPL is version 1.37 and the ROM is 1.37.707.1 (downloadable from Baronic's blog). That rom contains the original Radio ROM version .3.

hi davidmak, out of curiosity, wouldn't stock SPL, stock ROM, and stock radio contained in one single RUU package? for d810, they are packaged as one installation file. by the way, why would the sequence of installing ROM and SPL will brick the device?

I intentionally did not leave any comments after upgrade so that I can give a better one after a few days of use. But the phone is more responsive after the upgrade, especially TF3D.

Yeah, its my first time so I'm keeping it safe. But if I do intend to use an unsigned version of SPL do I need to go through this process?
1. Return to stock settings (Downgrade to stock 1.37 ROM -> Install stock SPL)
2. Install unsigned SPL -> Any ROMS regardless of signed or unsigned.

The stock ROM is actually at the bottom of my blog, in the "Software Archive" section. I think that was my stock ROM but where can I get the stock SPL?

A few things that I noted after the upgrade so far :-
1. The Start Menu (Start -> Settings -> Menus) list could no be changed, giving the error "Cannot move that item" when I tried to edit it.
2. When I tried to add programs in TF3D, I see lots of duplicate entries like Calendars, Contacts, Excel Mobile, Help, etc etc..

i decided to go with the new ROM plunge as well

i went with the official 1.93 ROM from Tom Condon

after flashing doesnt seem to have much difference in the touchflo3d performance , its still a massive resource hog that keeps on getting worse just like before ...

anybody else get this problem oso or did i do something wrong ?

i have not tried developer spl after signed spl, but u should not need to backtrack to stock. just hard-spl normally.

the spl is available at the XDA developer thread, i think developer hard-spl thread. or do a search for stock spl.

as for your final issue, i know what rom you're using already. its cooker dependent than issue you're facing. if u read the thread, TLR explains why there are duplicate entries.

Yes, I'm able to find the Stock SPL. I will upload it at the "Software Archive" section once I've finish downloading it, together with the stock ROM and stock radio.

Yeah, its a smudge magnet to the max! Actually in order to maintain its glossiness, I resort to using the stylus. Even then I still need to wipe it few times a day to perfection!

Actually I'm quite pleased with the improved performance in TLR v3 ROM. I'm not sure about Cordon's ROM, perhaps you should give TLR a try. But make sure you know how to flash TLR's ROM from your current phone condition! Be doubly sure if possible..

Walau eh. Seems like I'm not the only one with "broken" Diamond. You better quickly go to SiS at Glenmarie to rectify the problem. FYI, SiS at lowyat closing down.
