Some nice things about the Touch Diamond taken from pocketnow.com :
# You know how when you call someone, you have to hold the phone up to your ear and listen to it ring and ring and ring and wait until they pick up? The Touch Diamond has an awesome little feature where instead of doing that, you dial the call and just hold the device in your hand. When the person you’re calling answers, you feel a little vibration. Then you can hold the phone to your ear and start talking right away. Absolutely genius!

# Finding that mute button when an incoming call happens at the wrong time can be pretty difficult and annoying depending on what you’re being interrupted of. The Touch Diamond has implemented a great feature where you can just flip the phone over and place it face down in order to ignore and silence an incoming call. You don’t have to look at it, you don’t have to feel for some button on the phone. Just flip it over! (If you leave it flipped over, incoming calls will still sound, so just flip it up and down to silence it in that case) Throwing it across the room may also work, but I haven’t tried it.

Then you press the button all the way to take a picture. I wonder why does HTC give a misleading standby time when the device can barely last a day. I think it is too early to look for one now as the device is new. Better to go for a higher capacity battery rather than to get a similar capacity one which will give you the same results.

Has anyone tried to lower down the brightness to the absolute minimum and un-check the 'auto-adjust' backlight feature in the backlight settings and see how far this takes you? Other setting is to set the device to turn-off after 1 minute of inactivity. It may not contribute much but worth trying though.

Lol, thing is, must see how that cover change looks like. If its not too bad, definitely got demand for it wan.

Anyone can let me know the usual/estimated price drop rate for diamond pda?

For example: after 2+ weeks will drop about x%, after 1 month will drop y%, after 3 month will drop z% and so on..

Saw this phone demo at SG PC Show.
First impression quite nice, but it's a super fingerprint magnet.
Heard some users complain it will hang quite often.

it is now S$958 in some shop

earlier I complaint about the left and right button very hard to press, now confirm i got a defective unit just sent back to SIS and they agree to do 1 to 1 exchange but too bad currently no stock hv to wait few more days.
Miss my diamond now........

For those hardcore diamond fans....A new firmware for diamond already available in SIS service center the version number is 1.37 but no idea what improvement in this rom.

Same here also, i use  T.dual pouch for my TD.

lol, i got exams la. But damn that rom flash is tempting. maybe i'll go down tmr, since now too late lol.

I check with SIS last week, they sell the standard battery for Rm150. So the battery at SIS LY is Extented battery?

I did not install anything. After i brought i did a Hard reset. Didnt install a single thing at all now.

Tolong~~~~~ always "no sound" by itself. Seriously cant answer call, cant dial, cant listen to music, adjust volume also no sound at all....
