Where to buy & install invisible shield? Any shops around Klang Valley?

Saw similar product but not available in Malaysia, i think. Was told that it reduce the finger prints on TD and has more grip.

I found something which might be useful for some people. A software that can make your Diamond works differently from the others and it make use of the built in Accelerometer!!

You may try a software called "MoDaCo NoData". It will prevent auto switch to 3G/GPRS when the wifi signal is weak/lost.

OMG! I just realized that my TD has faulty home, send and left navigation buttons which can operate by putting just a little pressure on the buttons; no need to press until you hear the click sound. This also caused the alignment of buttons on the left side became higher than the buttons on the right side. No wonder the left navigation key is so stiff.
Anyone of you have such problem? Sigh...

Walau eh. Seems like I'm not the only one with "broken" Diamond. You better quickly go to SiS at Glenmarie to rectify the problem. FYI, SiS at lowyat closing down.

I just sent my TD there... waiting for reply from SiS. Hoping to hear good news from SiS by tomorrow.

I sent my TD for 1 to 1 exchange for a new unit at SiS. Just got it back today but... Actually, they just swap my TD with someone else's repaired unit. 1 word best to describe this, a "refurbished" unit!

@Baronic, how was it like when you get your 1 to 1 exchanged unit? Did they ask you to exchange the cover box (with IME) as well?

Anyway, at least this refurbished unit they gave me is flashed with Rom 1.93.707.1 WWE. Fast!

Anyway, this new ROM reduce the "animation stress" on the phone by cutting down the animations when you browsing through the TouchFLO menus. Hope I can video it and show to you, but I don't have a good video camera.

Last time I used v1.37 rom and found the changes in 1.97.707.1 WWE rom are:
1. Soft reset loading is faster. The starting HTC logo animation run smoothly; previous rom is laggy when the animation flashes the green triangle on HTC logo.
2. The "Tap here to launch TouchFLO3D" screen has been removed. My experience with 1.37rom will hang quite frequently at this screen. New rom will only show "launching TouchFLO3D..." (without logo) and it's slightly faster; so far so good, no hang.
3. The touch screen is more accurate, responsive and respond more correctly to my finger gestures. The old rom always mess up swipe with flick gesture and most of the time, it simply select an item when I try to do scrolling with finger.
4. TouchFLO3D animations while switching to different menu is "greatly" reduced. But still acceptable for me.
5. At the weather section. When adding new location, there's a small column of alphabets on the right side (just like contacts) for you to choose the first letter of the country's name.
6. The overall performance of the device is a lot faster! <I forgot to mention this important thing earlier >
7..... So far that's all I found out. No time to install other softwares and play around with it yet.

This Extended Battery looks like a cooler fan at the back of TD. Like this Nokia you mean?

Nokia 5110 (a.k.a compact brick phone)


This extended battery design is more acceptable although with about the same thickness as above. However, the back cover will affect the camera's picture quality.

If I'm da boss. I'll even make sure 3rd party won't be able to clone the battery and sell at lower price. Demand is there... chance to earn more $$money$$

Hey, where did you get the pictures of my 1st TD's faulty buttons which also work like a 'touch panel'? Mine was worse, the white light will leak out from those gap and the right side of buttons are lower than the screen level. I've posted my buttons faulty earlier in this topic.

If it's within 2 weeks from the date of purchase, you can request to exchange for a refurbished unit (like mine). Otherwise, SiS will only repair.

I've enabled the "Message Delivery Request". But I get the system notification with receiver's phone number. Does it suppose to show the receiver's name instead of number?

I've confirmed that my contacts does not have duplicate. Is it because I added +6 at front? Any help pls?

I hav a question. Regardless how high resolution of my contact's photo is... it is still pixelated when added to my favourite contact screen.

Anyone know how to fix it? How did HTC make the sample favourite contact picture so nice?

Anyone use the YouTube Client in TD recently? I keep on getting error msg "No Video" when da phone is connected to the internet via ActiveSync or Wifi.

Need help.
