Wow, great that your wife managed 3 vaginal deliries after the first caeserean.. usually the scar would be the weak point, and 2 normal births are advocated only. Wish you well smile.gif
*
There are no limits to a vaginal birth after an uncomplicated caesarean section. The limit is usually for those with 2 previous caesarean section, where the doctor would advise the pregnant patient to go for the 3rd caesarean section + tie the tubes...... wink.gif

However, some people do believe that a caesarean scar may get weaker the more deliveries (vaginal) a woman have, which, logically should be true... wink.gif

Your story is pretty much like mine. For both kids, I worked the whole day, cramps and all the whole day and still working! Then evening, get home from work only I give birth. tongue.gif

But both my babies were born ahead of their EDD. Like maybe 2 weeks to 1 month earlier. biggrin.gif

Personally, I use Body Shop Cocoa Body Butter. (No wonder my kids are choc-lovers!) rclxms.gif

Another one I use is Palmer's Cocoa Butter (again, choc! See the pattern?) thumbup.gif

There's a lot of different brands out there. But my personal faves are those two. Some of my friends just use normal, Johnson n Johnson baby lotion because they're prone to allergies, ang J&J's stuff is supposed to be hypo-allergenic and stuff..

I was recommended for Cocoa for my cracked heels, although i dont find it useful for my needs but indeed it is the most moist products. There are other brands from maternity co's to your needs but i don think it is necessary cos i was too lazy to apply of them and yet i dont find any marks left on my tummy. After birth I have been using Amway slimming sets of cream, and that might be helpful if u do have some marks left on you.

I had my 1st baby when I were 24 and it only takes not more than 20 mins for my baby to come out...Wow! I still remember the way how pain I am coz I asked my hubby to fetch me to hospital at night around 10pm. And after those test-test in the hospital, it was about 2am. Then I were asked by the nurse to wait first. Erm...I were just sitting, standing, walking, going to toilet for 2 hours because my backache make me can't sleep. Then I were shocked coz my water broke while i'm standing besides my bed. And the nurse asked me to walk to 'that' room for checking and she said I'm ready to welcome my baby...That was fast for 1st baby...Even the doctor was surprised when he's looking at my report.

After all the processes, I were just sent to another room which was all mothers & babies were there. And I still remember my mum's impressions coz she's looking for me at the other room which were all those pregnant women are there...And she was shocked and happy as my baby was sleeping next to me...LoL!!.

But for my 2nd baby, that's another challenging way to give birth to her...totally different from my 1st one O,o

Hey, you guys with Govt Hosp, is it? So 1st & 2nd class moms get doctors? Not midwives? What about those who went through the Emergency room? Will they be handled by doctors or midwives?
*
I'm not too sure about the 1st and 2n class moms.
But here's how the system works. It depends on when the mother delivers. If she delivers during standard working hours, there is a higher chance the mother would get a doctor or a specialist to do her delivery. Because...they will be around.
When it's pass working hours, most of the specialist and medical officers go home. Leaving the housemans and medical officers and a single specialist who is on call.

It seems to me that you may have a bias against midwives. Correct me if I'm wrong. But assuming you do have that bias.
It's a very misplaced bias. Midwives conduct better delivery than doctors.
Let me explain.
Doctors serving in the government hospitals usually hop on to private hospitals later on. And those who do stay, do not manage as much deliveries compared to the midwives.
Midwives in government hospitals have MUCH MUCH MUCH more experience. And they have been conducting so many deliveries day in and day out. I'm so convinced that they can do so with their eyes closed.

Those who go through the emergency room can be of two types of mothers.
1. Normal mothers with normal pregnancy - higher chance of being delivered by midwife (that also depending on what time she comes through the ED)
2. If the pregnant mother has complications for example; seizures or bleeding per vagina, she will definitely be attended to by a doctor.

Hi all smile.gif ,

Is pregnancy spotting normal during early stage of pregnancy?

I've confirmed with the doctor that I'm preggy 4 weeks++, scan already & claim everything OK. The problems is I'm having brownish red mucus/spotting today. Is it normal or not?
Because, in my previous pregnancy I miscarriage twice & the early symptons blood discharge cry.gif . I'm kinda worried it might happen again.

Am I over react about this or is it normal hmm.gif ?

Hi kmyk_maniax,

Sorry to hear about that dear...Yup, 4 weeks is too early to tell... hmm.gif 3 months preggy seems long enough for me, bcoz it's kinda hard for me to get thru the early stages, both also miscarriage before reach 3 mths. cry.gif

This time around, I went to the private clinic.
The doctor gave me dydrogesterone tablets ( I guess to prevent from spontaneous/threatened miscarriage), plus MCs and I can't climb up stairs/walk a lot blink.gif Hope everything will be OK sad.gif

Hey kmyk_maniax, if I'm not mistaken you can try again after 3 months from the loss. Do inform me when you get preggy again dear smile.gif
