Yeah.. I agree.  thumbup.gif  Branded or non-branded actually from same manufacturer. Just print different brand only. Got to test twice with different types so be assured. Heard of any promotion for these test kit? Need to get few units to standby.  icon_question.gif

I don't know about the HPT kit coming from the same manufacturers and then re-packaged for different brands part, but most HPT are pretty much the same.

Anyways, I don't recall any specific promotion for HPT kits. Usually if Guardian or Watson have sales, the HPT kits might also have discounts on them as well. And if I'm not mistaken, Watson is having some sales right now.

That's probably cause the baby is alive and the placenta is not, so that's why the doctor decided it that way! tongue.gif

But then again, snap the cord and you'll give them a big headache.. so well done! smile.gif

I'd really like to help, but I have no idea since I'm in KL. But I think, Hosp Putrajaya or Hosp Serdang should have good OB-GYN there...

well, if you're not familiar with baby delivery, it's better to start off with placenta delivery.
learn how to delivery via control cord traction and fundal pressure first...dun rush. identify signs of placenta detachment -> gushing of blood, lengthening of cord and increase in fundal height.

dun rush to pull that thing out or you'll ended up uterine prolapse or retained placenta. by the time you see the placenta, you can start deliver placenta via turning motion to keep the membrane intact.

once you get better on this, then volunteer yourself to deliver some uncomplicated multip case. Most probably you wont have chance to do primi case because it require episiotomy.

it's kinda struggle to wait for the baby out...you wnt have nice sleep during obs oncall...baby just pop out anytime they want.

When you get to conduct a delivery, you'll know how wonderful it is to bring a baby into this world.

yeah, managed to get through O&G..
hmm.. depends lah, was posted to the labour room with 3-4 colleagues for a month, 7am-5pm, delivered about 2-5 babies per day.. coz my hospital has this practice of allowing midwives & nurses delivering the babies of mothers from the general ward (uncomplicated cases), whereas 2nd & 1st class mothers must be attended by a doctor..

otherwise, just on call 1-2 times per month in the labour room at night.. deliveries can range from 2-10.. tongue.gif
total deliveries during my 4 months: 40-50? can't really recall.. tongue.gif
yeah, quite busy, vaginal delivery rate is about 100 per week, i think..

Hey, you guys with Govt Hosp, is it? So 1st & 2nd class moms get doctors? Not midwives? What about those who went through the Emergency room? Will they be handled by doctors or midwives?

at my particular centre, the Maternity Hospital is separate from the General Hospital.. but if in the case of Emergency Childbirth who mistakenly landed up at the Casualty Department, the doctor there would take charge..

Hey nice sharing smile.gif Glad everything went smooth in the end. How's our little baby doing?

Well, they had to make you pee because the bladder will get in the way of the delivery if it's not empty. Like an obstruction. Anyway, your pain should be gone by now. Probably the wound didnt heal that well.. speak to your gynae about it, and see what he/she says. It really shouldnt persist

Wow, great that your wife managed 3 vaginal deliries after the first caeserean.. usually the scar would be the weak point, and 2 normal births are advocated only. Wish you well smile.gif
