Strange why the 3 red lights are still showing up sometimes. Have to switch off and on again. Worrying.

Is it due to heat issue? One of the indicator is temp.

ycs, do you have the problem again after you switch off completely everytime you use it?

Synco is right abt the switch on/off. It will shortened the bulb life or even damage it.

Can't be heat issue. Was testing the dolby bluray for about 30 mins. Then I switched it off to have dinner.

1+ hour later came back turn on power, saw the 3 lights.

All the time, was in air con room.

Had this problem before, but can't remember the sequence.

Htkaki, you mean, you haven't experience this problem at all (zero %)? Seems many member kena wor.

I didnt have this problem. So far, Synco, ycs, toytoy and you only. Nira_110 with the highest usage (+600hrs) didnt encounter any problem.

Btw, do all of you using 1 wall socket to connect all gears? Anyway, have you contact the technician, Chen?

Haven't contact Chen yet. Will try maybe after work. Where is he located? Do I send the unit to him for inspection?

I'm using one wall socket to KOSS to HD65.

Last time, I used same wall socket to multi-plug adapter to AE300 and table lamp, etc., no problem for 6 years.

Oh, you called vismart already? How long did you wait before switching on the second time?

I called vismart Chen just now .... but no time to send unit to their place (Lrg 227C, Sek.51A, PJ), cos they dont work on weekends. sad.gif

Chen mentioned few things about the lights, sometimes they blink and we are supposed to wait till it turns to green. If not turn to green or they don't blink, then got potential problem (like mine). blink.gif

So, Chen says the problem is due to not enough time even though > 1 hour?

Looks like I seriously need to have a small backup display

Same as mine. 1 socket.

As for me, The interval is more than an hour for most of the time.

so far mine never hv such problem. turn on the power (red) - press the remote on (green). then enjoy the bluray. totally in air-con room and plug the power to a 'power filter'. normally if i dun use, i'll take the plug from the socket. icon_rolleyes.gif

1 hour actually not enough coz i tried to touch the unit it is still damn hot even with aircon.
i usually watch 2 movies or 1 movies and 1 game , roughly abt 5 hours during weekend.

Yeah, only on weekends that I get to enjoy. Normally, watched 2 movies in a go. If not, 1 movie and play games for a while. Then, switch off again.

My unit is cool after an hour of switching off (watching 1 movie only). Maybe my room is small enough for the aircond to work well.

Is this normal for DLP?

Cos LCD no such constraints I know of. Can turn on or off anytime. Same like those office projector.

Only important step is to let it power down properly, but after that can power on anytime.

my 3LCD's manual definitely say NOT to turn off the main power switch after you switch off the unit. as the fan is cooling down the unit a good minute or so.....big warning sign...
