I am sure fellow users here will be grateful to help out. Btw, what is your screen size? Using fixed screen?

When I go over, maybe we can give Mega a call whether he want to join us and bring some BDs to test.

using the same screen from the previous pj, which is abt 5feet apart only. rclxub.gif

Rainbow effects will be more pronounced if the brightness setting gets higher. What's your setting?

Then again, certain indiividual with less sensitive eyes are not so prone to rainbow effects. Maybe have to ask jediknight8820 since he is also an ex-SP4805 user.

dun hv the BB to make comparison. seen the I Robot and the skin tone and color is very much better than 4805, never make any changes yet. nod.gif

Good progress that you have got there.

mys_terious, like rx330 said, better buy cloth and let the frame maker to do it for you.

either way, its still DIY. just couldn't find the time and patience to do it. rclxub.gif htkaki any chance of doing this by bulk for your HD65 kakis here. whistling.gif

so far mine never hv such problem. turn on the power (red) - press the remote on (green). then enjoy the bluray. totally in air-con room and plug the power to a 'power filter'. normally if i dun use, i'll take the plug from the socket. icon_rolleyes.gif

Yup. Why? Can demo in Malacca? smile.gif

I've demoed BD before but not used to it. They look too real that it feels like video from camcorder, i.e. no movie/film feel. Anyway, am more concerned with DVDs now because I have more than a 1,000 in my collection - almost all original.

Is there a lot of diff for upscaled DVD on 720p and 1080p pj?
*
i was using InFocus 4805 (480P) before and also owner of 100++ Region A DVD. u can certainly see a lot of difference using HD65 (720P), especially with HMDI - Upscale DVD player. thumbup.gif

Downloaded the fw. Will try it out when free.

bro, htkaki - let us know the outcome. this is certainly good news to all HD65 users, even worth investing in the Oproma 3D converter. rclxms.gif

Thanks for sharing - my projector is also HD65 but will consider to upgrade to 1080P or 3D projector. As now the price of HD21 (1080P) and HD33(3D) is getting cheaper. smile.gif
